  1. Wow, good to see V11Lemans.com is alive and well.. lots of posts here in just one day and offers to share tools.. that's all great.. your leak, Bummer.. I'm less keen to get another V11 now tho and will inspect any prospects carefully.. wish I could get this one.. but don't have the dollars.. https://rmn.craigslist.org/mcy/5791179089.html
  2. Nice pics! I have a stash but for the young folks (if there are any here) where do you find 35mm film.. or from the kids here, "what's film?"
  3. a long time ago I used the Harley TPS ($40.00us) on both my spine frame and Cal EV/Bassa.. they were a slightly different MM part # but I could not feel any difference or notice anything wrong on VDST.. it worked fine just like the stock part that was way over $200. back then..
  4. If you haven't already, add a ground wire from regulator to block.. the stock ground now goes thru a captured nut in the mount, not ideal.
  5. Chapters have been written about Guzzidiag over at wilguzzi.com join up..
  6. when you get the tank off, inspect the area around the steering head (under side of tank) be sure it's not rubbing a hole thru from a frame crossmember..
  7. - Replaced cam chain and tensioner for the Stucci type with spring. Cold idle improved again, no change. Rattle remained. He did that.. hard for me to hear anything not normal in the video accept what sounds like you dropped a tool off camera.. better than a hose put the butt of a big screw driver to your ear and place the tip around the block, heads, timing cover etc to try isolating the noise.
  8. Some had a da$h problem and the bike won't run if that happens.. join up at wildguzzi.com there's a lot of info on that there..
  9. LIKE
  10. Diesel Hero.. headlight detaches as a hand held light, motor powers a electric generator when you park!
  11. LOL !
  12. note, when you grease the middle zirk on the DS you'll want the axle in (if rear wheel off) or the shaft will expand lengthwise and you won't get the axle lined up until you remove the zirk fitting a let some grease out..
  13. did you get it?
  14. that's Ok cause the seat doesn't look very comfy.
  15. is everything running good now?
  16. mounted yet, pics? and video please
  17. I could do that work in under 3 hours..If I don't stop for Latte... longest part being the brake and clutch fluid purge. and I'd check the TPS setting while at it.. you too could do all that stuff yourself.. being in NY I bet you got the hose job.. 6-7 hours labor? If your dealer charged 2 hours labor- keep him!
  18. tell me about it, RIP my VW Golf (well over 100k).. and wife's Saturn. (78,000 miles warranty just ran out) .both had chains not timing belts.. owners/service manual said nothing about replacing them.. my current beater Toyota has a non interference motor, waiting for that belt to pop next..
  19. they stretch before they wear..
  20. Wait, what? your selling her ?
  21. turning over 100,000 miles? I'd treat her to some fresh bought store product of what the book calls for..
