  1. Who needs a truck? This is a how a swedish amateur race driver drove from Stockholm to Mo i Rana and back (1200 kms one way) The bike is a Yamaha R6 (with front wheel removed) the car is a VW Polo
  2. No, only the PRX units have separate high and low speed compression damping adjustment. What make the Öhlins unit so excellent is not the adjustability but the low inner friction which makes it work so smoothly. To learn more about the inner working and adjustment of shock absorbers the Öhlins user manual is a good read regardless of if you have a Öhlins, Sachs, Penske etc (or Paioli like me) Downloadable for free ffrom Öhlins: http://www.ohlins.se/pdf/07241-02.pdf more manuals: http://www.ohlins.se/mc_manuals.shtml
  3. You could preload the spring by lengthening the preload tube inside the fork leg, or better get are harder spring. I think the firm Lindemann has come up in the discussion as an exelent american source for suspension fixes.
  4. The was Randy DePuniet. He didn't just finish top 3, he hunted the ozzies down and won the race. Amazing guy!

    YOUNG NICKY!!!!

OLD KENNY! The Doctor put everything back in order and killed all resistance 5 lap from the checkered flag at DOnington. But, Lemon-Kenny finally did his first great race since I don't know when... while the young americans rolled in the gravel. look a smile!

  7. da swedish challenger: http://ullis22.ketogan.com/ still on 125
  8. todo correcto, but he likes bike racing as a true italian: an Aprilia RSV125 is tried out before the season
  9. yeah, it is growing on me, or did they slim it down a bit since the first prototypes? as Jaap said, replace the drain pipe with something nice looking. the swedish MCM bike magazine (classics and rebuilding content) called it "the Buell killer pig". Not for a pig like appearence, but "Gris" means pig in swedish. a old MG pice in MCM BTW: http://www.mcm.se/arkivet/artikelindex/rep...e/motoguzi.html
  10. Nope, look at the colours of the jersey, and then at the relaxed style. He is the main sponsor of GP125 champion contender Mattia Pasini. No more clues, it should be easy even for a Milanese.
  11. I never realized how big the swedish frog was in the UK until I got to Scunthorpe and the taxi driver told us. Was the frog song it a number one hit too? It was played on the radio every hour. Watch out USA your next for the "frog craze" ...

Congrats to Nicky Hayden, he needed this to keep his place in the HRC team for next year. At least I got 2 of 3 podium standers right. .. and my no 2 was knocked out of the race by the no 2 of v50man

    YOUNG NICKY!!!!

hmmm... Biaggi, not his kind of track, it is too bumpy thies days, I think, 5th Melandri, already has crashed twice this weekend, 7th Hayden, no, he can't take the pressure, when Rossi is on his rear wheel the fun is over, 4th my one hour until the moment of truth.

    YOUNG NICKY!!!!

Yes it will, but I don't think Hayden will make it, his friends on the front row is the worst company he could get.... My tip for the podium: 1. Rossi 2. Barros 3. Edwards
  16. I am here from time to time, but I been really busy lately and now it too nice weather here up north to be hanging at the computer screen.
  17. Yes SKF 6205 front, 6204 rear, fully encapsuled. Just got me 2 new pairs today. It is the same on the Paioli fork as your Öhlins.
  18. I have a Haglöfs Tight Pro Large, Adjustable to be as slim as the content allows and fits tightly the the spine.
  19. but a PC for another WM15 equipped bike like some harleys would work? right or wrong?

    Redline in 6th

in my experience the max speed on a naked is a little bit over 200 km/h (130 mph) this is due to aerodynamics. Guzzi also gave 205km/h as max speed for the naked and 220 for the faired LeMans. I have put on a small bikini fairing on my sport and will test what it delivers as soon as I get the new pistons broken-in and the PCIII mapped.

he had been to Holland then http://www.startwin.com/
  22. I got the heads back, but my digicamera is a silly little Casio, good because it is supersmall but not as good at closeup (less than 1 metre) a few pics anyway: a new FBF hicomp piston sits waiting for the head the intake port (a bit blurry): and the exhaust: PS of course I forgot to ask about the exhaust step, but is no big step to the V11 pipes (or it is not now anyway Please note the shiny titanium retainers on the racing springs from Mike Rich. A shame I have to cover those up.
  23. I can confirm that the sump is good for transporting heat. One hour with a propane burner and I did get the whole thing hot to handle even with gloves but I couldn't get the spot I was aiming at hot enough to Alutite weld my flange to the sump I am certain the oil cooler is not needed with this thing on
  24. I hope the oil filter could catch most things. I change oil and filter more frequently than the service schedule recommends. I made a reduction so I can use the stock hose. I seems to sit tight and good but I will weld it locked with Alutite so it stays in place when thing get hot.
  25. bump I decided to leave the mesh filter out, it seems that a cut mesh would be just as likely to spread metal as to catch it- Is this dangerously stupid?
