  3. probably not since the 800cc rules is for 2007 and on.
  4. Max and HRC had a fall-out, but Camel sticks with Max so Pons is out of a main sponsor. Rumors places Max on a Yamaha either in Tech3 (satellit team) or to team up with Colin Edwards in a Camel/Yamha teams while Rossi has his own single rider Alice/Yamaha outfit. Or could it be D'Antin? With the 12 million euros Camel pumped into Pons last year D'Antin could get Ducati GP5s and good tyres for Massimiliano. And I think Kenny Jr will drive his dad's bike with leased Honda engine
  5. Calll me backwards, but steel in good. What doesn't bend breaks

They might have borrowed their scales from Honda. The fact sheet for the CBR600RR says 163 kg, out of the box from Japan (no ack, no coolant, no oils) it weights in at 184kg! Remove fairing, tyres and brake pads and we might get the 163 kg.

The Bimota DB5 with the same engine and a chassie optimized for light weight is 156kg ready to run sans petrol. The chassie is built for maximum of 120 hp. Perhaps 10-15 could be lost if a non-track parts would be removed but it is still 140-145 kg. 120 kg sounds a bit on the low side
  8. I ran mine last summer on 120/60-17 Pirelli dragon corsa, no trouble with the front. but watch out many tyres with the lower profile are made for lightweight bikes like 600cc sportbike or supermotard bikes. Our V11s needs a more stable tyre at high speeds.
  9. and it is done. I want a new white AGV with a big 7
  10. And Carlos Checa 3rd. PLS Ducati Corse: Keep Checa instead of signing Gibernau
  11. driving on the wrong side of the road must dampen be urge to buy belgian cars, doesn't it? How about oil? In Sweden we have to tax again if we buy finnish machine diesel wihich is already taxed in Finland. The oil companies wants control over each local market to maximize profits. Suddenly free trade is gone.
  12. Steffen you have to move over the bridge then, my cousin is living in Malmö and working in Köpenhamn. The single market is not for us, it's for big business. When it is beneficial to them we have free trade, when they prefer control over a local market we have strange taxation to stop free trade.
  13. Denmark has an extra tax on new motor vehicles, but Steffen, you could alway buy it Sweden, lend it to me for 6 months and 5000 km and then bring it to Denmark as secondhand/used bike. Always ready to help even if it is hard work
  14. ähum, capirex was never behind rossi today. Melandri was in the lead from start, Biaggi and capirossi followed. Rossi charged from 11th on the grid Biaagi and Capirex fought for the lead, Melandri drop a bit and was caught by Rossi (and Tamada) until Vale did a mistake in breaking and hit Melandri, both men dwn and out. Max tried to pass Loris but run wide a few laps from the end and never managed a get close enough again. Ducatis second win ever, and a great day with 1st and Checa in 4th on the home track of HRC. The old tired balding roman was 45 sec in front of his supertalent team mate in HRC
  15. could be the place to go eventually or will DORNA/FIA shut it down? just opened at: http://www.wroomtorrents.org/ I'm just a members, no further involvment
  16. 2 reasons not to go for Buell pegs in Europe: - HD/Buell parts are not cheap over here - the Oberon race non-studded race pegs look really nice both in styling and finish, while the Buells certainly does not, IMHO and why do I need less clearence?
  17. I bought directly from Oberon: http://www.oem-uk.com/acatalog/Moto_Guzzi_V11.html
  18. a few tips: - cracks in intake rubbers - leaks in the exhaust system (joints) - check air filter - check petrol filter
  19. I have them red pegs and bar ends from Oberon, look at: http://kirra.net/v11/2005/ good quality products can't say anything about the colour match

Who are these people? You can't hold on like that when riding a sports bike! Grab the man in front of you for god's sake!
  21. Totally OT, most men would prefer fitta to jazz if they had to choose.
  22. I was simply stating a fact, not the best name to market in Sweden Honda "Fitta" is called Honda "Jazz" in Sweden (and Norway) because "fitta" is not word you want to use in a marketing unless you are a pimp
  23. almost as cool as: it was a tasty brew made by "Koff" brewery. Killed by Carlsberg when they took over, bloody danes!
  24. "Gris" is swedish for pig. Griso is according to motoguzzi.it
