Seeing that paper on the ground reminded me , a couple of weeks ago I had rounded up all my Gazetteers, maps , etc. and couldn't find the Ky. edition. Went to the Service Desk at WallyWorld and had to explain to the young girl what I was after. She was clueless AFA what I wanted. I had to explain in as few of words as possible what a road map was. "I just us my phone" was all she needed . Now , please post all the pics you have about this event. I regret not getting to go but obligations.......

With all the concern about tightness AKA torque , there has never been an unimportant bolt fall off a motorcycle.

Maybe Timothy Leary , Wavy Gravy or Jerry Garcia.

Print off a (large) wiring diagram for your bike. See what circuits this fuse serves and then follow the wires AFA where they go on your bike and look for a pinched harness or wires. Look specifically for the area under the tank.

With everything , use logic AFA what sequence to use in the order. You must not R&R bolts very much. Do not fear them , just keep up w/what you are doing! As docc is referring to, pinch bolts you need TLC or you will break something. JUST TIGHT ENOUGH .

And I would pay $100 for the video of the procedure.

And what is you doing ?

You can purchase repair sleeves for this problem. I have used them for a long time. They used to be very inexpensive, but they have caught on and are now expensive. With that being said, the sleeve is less than a new part !

You better have yourself a conventional seat in inventory.

Just wonder if anyone had found a replacement ? Docc , I revived mine w/contact cleaner and a lot of plunger movement!

Is this switch OEM or did you find an aftermarket part ?
