  1. Eureka ! After removing the tank on the black frame to repair the low fuel level sensor leak . I had a monster of a time getting it back on . NEVER again . The next time I am going to get two new pucks (just in case something goes wrong) and mill the diameter (on the old ones) down 1/4" at a time until the tank slips on easily . This should fix everything .
  2. If anyone wants a brace , contact me . I bought two and found out this only fits the red frame .

  7. HMMMM . You say the tank is new ? Did it look "boogered up" when you got it ? I suppose it has only the gas you installed in it when you put it on , this will make repairs easier. What about the old tank ?

  9. My work vehicle ( 86 Suburban ) had a milk crate full of these for Il , Mo , Ky , Tn . & other states This was before I accepted the fact GPS was a beneficial tool . I used to be able to cross a county on back roads by dead reckoning . I have been able to invoke Daniel Boone " I can't say I was ever lost out in the wilderness , but I was once bewildered for about three days" when needed !

  17. I can not say I can remember ever being unaware of the V11 . I do not remember not wanting one . Most of all , I cannot owning one . Not everyone is going to feel this .
  18. If he didn't follow through ; he certainly missed his trip to Verna and I am sorry for him .
  19. Unfortunately , this (fuel shutoff) is a trait we have to deal with . Don't complain , just fix it and get on with the next issue !
  20. It is the ethanol in the fuel system the standard o-rings are exposed to that causes all the problems .
  21. You will (probably) have to go to a MG dealership or find an online catalog for these parts . Good luck
  22. Take your time on the Beemer , the rubber in the fuel system does NOT like hibernation .
