  1. Well, he wasn't going very fast, but he *was* having a good time.. and that is what it is all about anyway.
  2. Pretty road. Needs a shifter extender.. "you have to stomp on the gear lever"
  3. Replace the spark plugs with screw in desiccant cartridges.
  4. My sweetie got me a Formotion clock for Christmas. It's been too cold in the Guzzi Garage (tm) to even think about installing it, but it *will* go on. One way or another.. That Timex looks nice, Docc. I installed something similar on MZ I have in California.
  5. Or.. like me.. get out your die and punches and make some out of soft 3003-0 aluminum. Free. (Guzzi content)
  6. How about these? https://www.mcmaster.com/sealing-washers/metal-bonded-sealing-washers-6/
  7. ^^^^^^I just received an order of 6061 T6 aluminum from McMaster-Carr aircraft supply.
  8. Crap.. that isn't leaking.. it's pouring. Having it running probably isn't the best idea, IHMO. Yes, you should be able to do a good epoxy/fiberglass repair if it is where it appears to be. Prep is all important.
  9. What is daunting to one just may be recreation to another.. Carry on, Kindoy.. I'll get my popcorn, too.
  10. The Kid grew up with Blanca, a German wirehaired pointer..the smartest dog I've ever known. Great close ranging bird dog, and absolutely fearless retriever. He has Belle, now.. who has been spoiled by Nora but still a good dog.
  11. Sublime.. PD, give Rosie a pat on her hump for me.. she's a good girl.
  12. From memory yes. I don't remember whether the bike has to be on the work stand or have the weight on the rear wheel, though. Looking through my maintenance logs, the last time was 4 years ago. I have a hard time remembering yesterday..
  13. I dunno. The Kid, when he had Low's Greenie said he couldn't grease the front U joint. I took my rig that I'd been using on the Centauro and the Mighty Scura for years to his place. Tackled it with a grin. I couldn't do it, either. *Something* is different.
  14. You can do it on the Scura without modding anything.
  15. I believe Bad Mofo is the correct terminology..
  16. Scud on this list.
  17. Yes. And a Lucky Phil Extender. (shameless commercial plug)
  18. I saw a view like that in Nevada one time, hoping the one horse gas station in the (far) distance actually had fuel. They did. Regular. Boys peed on the ground out back, girls actually got to use the out house.
  19. How could you go wrong if it needs a washer to make it fit? Even at that, I have a hard time imagining an issue..?
  20. It'll break if it runs long enough.. normally within 20K miles. One of the first things Pete had done to the Mighty Scura was change to the dual plate clutch. He said he had some "dangly bits" too near the exploding flywheel for comfort..
  21. Oh, you are just saying it needs a shim? You can't tighten the fastener to take the play out? (scratching head)
  22. It's a must.
