Yes, that is what I did. And I use a certain transparent tape that came with the throw-over bag to protect the parts that are touched by the straps. And there are bodywork protection flaps on the straps as well. It is a SW Motech throw-over and the rear rack is the same as you have. The aluminum colored rack. Edited 17 hours ago by motortouring 2
