  1. These images remind me of what I used to get emailed to me as an aircraft troubleshooting engineer. We've got this damage/crack/corrosion/defect and I'm sending images for you to look at. Ok. Often blurry but also often crystal clear but without context. I'd call back and ask them to send images with regards to the contextual location on the wing/fuse/engine wherever. Where something is located EXACTLY with regards to the machine is often half the clue to what it is or what it means. Phil

  2. Every V11 made is a prototype so don't think you are exclusive !

  4. That first image looks a bit like a battery tender connector, which is a common add-on. But as others have noted, clarity, context, and connection locations would be useful.

  5. throwing out some feelers to see if anyone has my preferred set of exhaust mufflers for a 2002 V11 Le Mans. anyone got a set of these for sale? in excellent condition of course, whether new or used. i assume the matching ECU is necessary also, and i'd love to have that as well if so. looking for them at a normal or slightly upsweft angle as shown in the following images. thanks heaps gentlemen... p.s. to only be paid for with PayPal 'goods and services" of course, so don't bother to contact me with any scam attempts. p.s.s. is there some leeway with adjusting the angle of the mufflers? i see three distinct angles below. middle position looks best to me.

  11. yeah, my first impression of the first blurry image was a battery tender connector. which should trace easy back to battery - even if battery is not present.

  13. He's only posted 9 times on here so I will cut him some slack. I have to take pics all the time . I want to be sure if/when I send them I want to be sure the recipient knows what they are looking at and where it is located on the machine. Up to 3 pics are good to me. I do this a lot if it is disassembly / reassembly on something. maybe we will get better pics and help this guy out. On the one pic , it won't hurt to follow the wiring back to see where it originates will help figuring it out. It really looks "add-on" .

  14. Exactly. I have that issue at work; nothing at all to do with this topic, but still the same. We have to do things like install cue lights in the set for a production, set up mobile video monitors with the conductor visible on them, maybe an audio monitor. It's all well and good when you have just been through the final phase of the rehearsal process. You've been there as it developes, and know where and why it all has to be. The thing is, a production in an Opera house like the one I work in can go into storage for a couple of years, and then be brought back into the repertoire again. And then you look at the documentation, lists, photos and so on, and ask yourself "Häää?". Where exactly is that, and what exactly is its purpose? Good photos and precise documentation are the Alpha and Omega, and everything in between, and a bit more on top.

  15. You never get 100% out of your bike until you put 100% into doing the fuel injectors. If anything , you find out they are producing everything they are supposed to do.

  18. I wonder if a standard triple-clamp doesn't have props in the casting-mold already to support drilling holes for the mounting of standard risers. In that case you could buy the risers from LSL. https://www.lsl-online.nl/nl/detail/2071085/superbike-kit-moto-guzi-moto-guzzi-v11-sport-zilver.htm And you could check at Stein Dinze. It says the product is NML (nicht mehr lieferbar), but it will also be shipped in 1-3 days. https://www.stein-dinse.biz/product_info.php?language=sc&products_id=55680#prettyPhoto
