  1. @audiomick This is for you; to be listened at loud volume on a decent HiFi system. This was recorded in Berlin (Germany), 2015. Lucienne Renaudin is 16 years old here. This is the very well known (among Trumpet players) Hummel Concerto for Trumpet. For those who do not have a particular affinity with classical music and trumpet in particular, skip to the third movement, the Rondo. The video starts at the second movement, the Andante. This is a bit personal and nostalgic to me, since I started learning trumpet at her age, and kept at it for seven years. Only, I never liked the instrument. I wanted to play guitar. Listening to her grandiose and perfect execution makes me want to go back to those days....

  2. Wanted to comment on Saturday, took a minute to get account approval, so I kind of assume a line must have formed already... If the deal falls through on the 15th, I'm interested. How's the ergonomics for 6'8 and 250#?

  3. Finally got a chance to pull her off the stand and get her out on the road, for a run-in-the-sun down to the local ethanol-free gas station. Proof of life. She has a different feel than the Lemans(s), or at least more than I had expected. She starts, idles, and runs sweet, but is a bit more buzzy at some rpm's (pods/airflow/TBS, etc), and I feel as though she's a lot smaller for my tall-ish body than the Lemans, though I know that's mostly in my head. Now back to Goldie, to see if I can get her ready for the June 28 MG gathering at John Day, for my Guzzi buddy to ride (i'll be on Red)

  5. Add your name tag, quantity required, and country where the patch should be sent if you do not live in the United States of America. I do not have a price per unit yet. I do not have a delivery date. I am trying to gauge interest. The patch length will be between 3.50 inches or 88.9 mm. The patch will need to be sewn on. Those would be woven patches;

  9. Yes, the CBX looks nice. A mate of mine in Melbourne had one of those. Great fun. And while you're at it, grab this as well. Cultivated insanity at its best. https://www.mecum.com/lots/1115784/1974-kawasaki-h1-mach-iii/?aa_id=576255-0

  11. I have not advertised it elsewhere. If there is a picture of my bike on Facebook marketplace, it's a scam.

  13. It's funny you mention that... There was a NTX for sale in Winnemucca NV maybe a year ago at this point. Had ~ 3,000 miles, tons of extras, was only asking $4,500-5K. It too was bright orange, couldn't possibly miss it. Unfortunately, he had it for sale right as Tahoe was getting slammed with snow, no way to get it home. Maybe it was fortunate- it sure made the decision easy, if somewhat disappointing. They appear to be great value for the money, especially against the GS-A's and some Multistradas that I've seen with 30-75K miles and still wanting $15-25K.... Maybe if I end up with a job outside of California.

  14. As @Scud pointed out, you seem to have been conceived for a Stelvio 1200 NTX, orange... I am 6 feet myself, and the first unpleasant feel I get on long rides, and I have done 800 miles on a single day, is the legs which are folded because the pegs are high. At your height, long rides will become painful really quickly.

  15. Only, this is not a Fender one. It is most likely a Pensa Suhr, now only Suhr. He also has a humbucker in the bridge, so his Strat is actually a SuperStrat.... I am guitar fanatic too.... lol....

  16. I think you would like a Stelvio NTX. But seriously, if you're limber the V11 would probably work for you. I suspect you might want some stiffer springs.

  23. It's an awesome bike, The most rare and sought after of all the V-11's in my eyes..Even more difficult to find than the Rosso Corsa. I love that Black..and with all the tasteful little touches you always do to your bike..ie; Gauges,Powder coating, etc, and that un-obtainable Exhaust system..along with your attention to detail..it is a prize find. A number of years ago my first V-11..of the Seven I have owned , was your old Greenie which you went thru...An awesome bike that got me hooked on MG Someone will get a Winner!!!
