  1. Lucky guy! wish I were the new owner.. there's a black one here about to go for $3800.. (12k miles)
  2. mine does that too and it IS the clutch.
  3. you could have a clever guy weld a piece onto the shifter you have if that material can be welded. whats your location?
  4. wow that is way too high, I got mine back for $900. and they paid me over $4k for the bike, then never reported it as totaled so I still have clean title and insurance through different company. replaced the clutch lever, bent the brake lever back in place, took off busted Swannee and luggage and she ran as good as new.. cosmetically it needed a new crash bar too. I had to heal up two busted ribs.
  5. any Griso being parted out will probably be wadded up in the fork area.. best look to Suzuki.. why do you need radial mounted brakes?
  6. It goes above the spacer. how did that happen?
  7. you might be offered a buy back from insurance for just a few hundred dollars.. get it and part out yourself if you can..
  8. No Roper plate, not enough oil pumped at launch.
  9. It would be good advice to drop the pan and put your own hose clamp on the new filter so it won't spin off when least desireable. I never use the manhole cover to access the filter, the threads are not very deep and I fear they could be stripped easily.
  10. your a lucky guy! I did that with the lead shot..
  11. my thoughts too, plus that Griso dash thing where it goes bad and the bike no run..
  12. FUN, thx 4 posting!
  13. ditch the 3 Honda 500's from the list and add the V7, Griso and KTM 390 Duke.
  14. It's a video documenary, maybe you can find it somewhere else, some of the racing in phenominal. Ewan McGregor narrates this adrenaline-pumping documentary that captures the thrilling, terrifying reality of MotoGP racing. Filmmaker Mark Neale gets behind the scenes with unprecedented access to shoot some of the sport's most electrifying footage.
  15. Viva Rossi! very impressive.. do you netflix? by all means watch "FASTEST" shows Rossi in his prime.
  16. You have every right to be pissed! I would be from your description.. Lucky me, I just raised the clip ons and everything fits me fine.. took from winter storage today for some fresh premium Non-ox.. It's all good and may the sun shine manyana..
  17. Hey Fishon, I'm in Mpls and spend time in Danbury.. I'd sure like to own your bike just don't have the 6k asking price.
  18. sidestand switch?
  19. when did you last flush clutch fluid?
  20. 2007? your battery is probaly on it's last charge and dying if not dead already.
  21. If you can find a Hot Rod club/organization in your state you can probably find a list of all the stations that sell non ox/alcohol free gas.. I have all kinds of favorite stations mapped out in my mind for where ever i go..
  22. silly you, it takes way more power to crank the motor over.. get a charger on it and you'll prolly be fine.
  23. with out going outside right now to compare, I bet this would fit. http://www.ebay.com/itm/00-Moto-Guzzi-Bassa-Jackal-California-LOCK-SET-IGNITION-SWITCH-KEY-/200795067407?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2ec051940f&vxp=mtr ya know Guzzi, I don't think they use different components just because it's a different model.. just don't trust anything this Pinwheel (seller) outfit tells you, they have no clus about Guzzi's.
  24. you have to be sure and keep it down when riding, it's tempting to leave it up sometimes. Glad my Nolan was down at the time of impact. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y7/fotoguzzi/IMG_0588.jpg I bought another Nolan with insurance money.
  25. you grounded a positive lead? did any smoke get out?
