  1. The ball end doesn't screw up the valve train geometry as much as ^^^^that one.
  2. I showed a picture in the thread..
  3. I'm a fan of the Lario, too. Mine blew up, of course. Martin from Oz has the definitive fix so far.. he detailed it on WG. Blueprinted, springs, valves, elephant foot adjusters..I'll see if I can find it. Edit: Here's the thread.. https://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=98265.0
  4. Sorry, I'm not tooled up to do that kind of work. It would be pretty straightforward, though.
  5. Wow! those are bright little boogers.
  6. No, there's nothing about lights. There is stuff that isn't on a bike, though. That giant Mil spec connector that plugs into the drone. The harness itself has roughly a brazillion wires in it. Some servos. Giant relays. I'll bet the weight is a wash.
  7. Here's the whole assembly less the computer. I still say there's not 25 lbs there.

    Hmmm, that's probably not good..
  9. 25 lbs. is a *lot.* If anyone wants, I can weigh the entire F.I. system. I have it in boxes from the Aero engine..

Just because the odo is turning on a Vague lia doesn't mean that the speedo has to pay attention.
  11. Dorcia's dad maybe wasn't the sharpest crayon in the box.. but one time he told me, "If you want to do something, you had better do it before you don't want to any more. At the time, several years ago, I didn't truly understand. I do now.
  12. Thanks, Roy.. I understand now.
  13. I have a couple in a box. I don't know whether they are prototypes or not. Maybe one of them is the one million plus shifts test spring but I'm pretty sure I binned it. Maybe they are from when Scud sent a few to me to do a "quality control" test. I just sent out my last "prototype" spring this week. I don't know what Scud has been charging for shipping to the UK..so I can't give you a price.
  14. All I can say is when I was looking at Carl's diagrams, when I'd look at wires, it would be different colors on my bike. FWIW, when I was fooling with The barn find Strada, I couldn't get Carl to understand there was an extra relay that *wasn't* on his schematic. That never did get translated to his drawing. Believe me, I'm not knocking Carl..it can be confusing. At any rate, when I looked at the wiring "that I was working with" on this latest thing, the colors were the same as the black and white I posted from the back of the owner's manual.
  15. Wire colors are different where I was working fooling around.
  16. LIke I said.. the 02 is "different" from the 99 and 04. I know I spent way too much time looking at the wrong diagram, saying Uhhh.. fortunately KR set me straight.
  17. It's different from the 00/01s and 03/04s Just trying out imgzeit..
  18. Why wouldn't that be N.O.? It grounds with pressure..
  19. I'm not going to do it, but I'm trying to understand. Would that be pin 87 of the start relay?
  20. A mechanic friend says it means Bitch Moan Whine..
  21. Needless to say, that did it. Thanks again, Roy.. I don't know what the Guzzi Community would do without you..
  22. The light works normally after the key is on. I would think if it's grounded, it would stay on.
  23. Yeah, I have ACF-50.. I'm an airplane mechanic, and it's used all the time. I have a can of Caig DeOxit, too, and I know how to use it.. This little issue is beyond a squirt and a wiggle, though. I'm sure Kiwi Roy will come up with a simple solution. If not, I'll go with Doccs adda relay deal. Looking at the schematic in the back of the owner's manual, though.. I still don't see the underlying issue. Electricity certainly isn't my strong suit, but I can generally muddle my way through.
  24. Well duh. The schematic I've been looking at bears on resemblance to what's in the owner's manual. Just texted that to you. I misspoke (mistyped) yesterday, it isn't the oil pressure light that has been flaky all it's life, it's the generator light. Thanks for looking at this, Roy.. I can't afford to tear any more hair out at my age..
