  1. Always glad to have a happy customer..
  2. Yeah. Austin just put the left cylinder on his G5 together last week. Did the usual 5 heat cycles and retorque. That sucker came loose with a pop! After the Ohio rally, I'll have him retorque again and put anti seize on it. So, now what are you going to do Czakky? Drill it out and big hunker eze out?
  3. I'm pretty sure they were. I got one from the Harley dealer ($42) when the one on my Jackal started acting up. Looked it up in my records, August of 03, so I think it was a common part.
  4. ^^^^^^ I''ve been wearing bike shorts on long trips since the 80s. Good advice.
  5. I brought some fairly expensive grappa last year, but it wasn't a good seller..
  6. I would replace the whole assembly since you have the aluminium flywheel.
  7. Lockey.. as you know, cancer's a bitch. Taking care of your lady is paramount right now. Don't forget to take care of yourself, too. All the best from us.
  8. beware of the grease mud, for there the skid demon lurks..
  9. The regulator is the common failure. My light only comes on depending on the phases of the moon.
  10. ^^^^^^ There are a pair of bullet connectors on the left side of the steering head that become loose/corroded.
  11. 20th century bike.. what can I say?
  12. Seems to me that is should be around 40V AC at around 4K rpm.
  13. The ball end doesn't screw up the valve train geometry as much as ^^^^that one.
  14. I showed a picture in the thread..
  15. I'm a fan of the Lario, too. Mine blew up, of course. Martin from Oz has the definitive fix so far.. he detailed it on WG. Blueprinted, springs, valves, elephant foot adjusters..I'll see if I can find it. Edit: Here's the thread.. https://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=98265.0
  16. Sorry, I'm not tooled up to do that kind of work. It would be pretty straightforward, though.
  17. Wow! those are bright little boogers.
  18. No, there's nothing about lights. There is stuff that isn't on a bike, though. That giant Mil spec connector that plugs into the drone. The harness itself has roughly a brazillion wires in it. Some servos. Giant relays. I'll bet the weight is a wash.
  19. Here's the whole assembly less the computer. I still say there's not 25 lbs there.

    Calm nervs

    Hmmm, that's probably not good..
  21. 25 lbs. is a *lot.* If anyone wants, I can weigh the entire F.I. system. I have it in boxes from the Aero engine..

Just because the odo is turning on a Vague lia doesn't mean that the speedo has to pay attention.
  23. Dorcia's dad maybe wasn't the sharpest crayon in the box.. but one time he told me, "If you want to do something, you had better do it before you don't want to any more. At the time, several years ago, I didn't truly understand. I do now.
