  1. Bluebook, no. Also depends on the region. CA for example values are higher. Same in NY, NJ, MD, etc. Best offhand stats is looking at Cycletrader or even Craigslist. GP Cycles in San Diego had a greenie with miles on it a while back listed in the low 5k area and got it. This was 1 google search without probing....Dreamers? Theses? They're get pretty close to that in these areas.. Vegas, SoCal... https://www.smartcycleguide.com/moto_guzzi-v11_le_mans-motorcycles-for-sale
  2. Like anything Italian their value will plummet and the rise and keep rising. I notice the V11 on the up. 4 years ago an 02 LeMans could be had anywhere from $3500-$5000. Now that same bike is around $6000-$8000. But I swear some of these people out there are either misinformed or high... 4Corsa is pretty accurate.
  3. More pics of that 79 Lemans, please.πŸ‘ŠπŸ˜ŽπŸ‘
  4. I don't blame you. I've done it. Welcome to Guzzi marriage.
  5. I've heard 165 but I weigh around 220 so what difference would it make....lol
  6. Where did you find it? Have a link?
  7. Mivv cans can be had for just over 400. GPR makes a 2 into 1 that is inexpensive. You can buy used Mistrals for cheap. But drilling a stock can is no bueno.
  8. I wouldn't be looking for a dealer remedy. I'd be looking for an upholsterer. Corbin uses a carbon fiber emboss like that. At 200 Euro for the pad you can upholster your whole seat in NEW material or find a used one when one pops up. But Im pretty certain you can find that material. Or buy that onevon ebay.
  9. It's holiday season. It'll sell at a higher price by the end of January. If I had space I'd buy it. That's a clean ST3.
  10. To be honest? Get what you can get by its condition. Less molested the better. I have 2 and took a good 2 years sorting them out mostly from people thinking they know what they're doing but in reality just FUBAR the poor bike. But after some TLC I think they handle better and in a lot of cases faster than a CARC. Even despite lacking 100ccs. If you do get a molested one take the time to sort it. I'm sure you'll bond more with these than your Griso. Mostly from its lack of refinement compared to the Griso. Funny but true.

    Scura clutch

MG Cycles sells a flywheel and clutch kit. And it ain't cheap. I went through this with mine. Needed a clutch and flywheel. Todd at Guzzitech tried the remedies. Lightened steel flywheel, etc. After months of him pulling his hair out most likely he had to get a new kit. There is no cheap way around it. I like Mark at MG Classics. He sold me my Lemans. The wrong guy for a Scura clutch job. He's a vintage Guzzi guy. I needed my throttle bodies adjusted and had him do it. Bike ran like sh!t for months. When I got my map done I had my throttlebodies synched. Todd was astonished the bike even ran...lol Morale to the story: Mark is a vintage guy. Give him a 650 Embassador or even a 1000 Daytona with Del Ortos and he can do magic. Anything modern after 2000 and it's a toss up. I hate saying it too. But he will "fix it" and later on......Boom. Even crazier is I can guess the Scura and he should know this after knowing the deal with my Scura. There's maybe 5 or 6 Scuras in the SoCal area (5 since I moved) and like 600 worldwide.
  12. Have you considered the Mistral Titanium highmount pipes? Then what you do is get a custom map. The Guzzi Titaniums are hard to get. Harper's years back bought the rest in existance and sold them. Finding a set can happen.Finding someone that'll sell actually them is a different story.
  13. Moto Guzzi Classics in Long Beach and Guzzitech who has a shop in Malibu and one in Orange. I've bought from both and have had service from both. Mark is a more vintage Guzzista. Anything modern 2000s and up send it to Todd at Guzzitech.
  14. I have 2. A Scura and a LeMans. Believe it or not they are very different. I love them both.
  15. I've been temped to get these for my Lemans.
  16. The grey isnt so bad. Do you have a pic? I know the paint scheme and the colors. What may of happened is the prior owner could of polished out the flat to polished? If that's the case you can try a flat clearcoat or an eggshell clearcoat which can be done cheaper than a color match and respray. Obtaining paint codes for these Guzzis can be tough to impossible. There is a place that still makes touchup but not sure if they still do it.
  17. Looks very well cared for. Your candy red isn't even sun faded to a slight red orange like mine. Very nice.
  18. Guzzi needs a flagship sportbike. But Piaggio is angling Guzzi to be a retro and cruiser line. But what they can do is make a Guzzi retro sportbike. They can call it "Lemans". It would be amazing.
  19. I call my Scura Bootie Call and my Lemans Bootie Lish. My wife hates it. But my bikes, my rules.
  20. That pad will be fine. I thought the same. I discovered they can pop off if you need to clean under it.
  21. Both the Veglia and ITI guages were made with these self lubricating plastic and metal gears which it was a matter of time they kerplunked. Then to serve us better Aprilia owned Moto Guzzi made them hard to get replacements. Oh, and they were inaccurate from the factory. Lol Speedhut makes both a tach and gps speedo. Not made for Guzzis but coincidentally can be fitted and used. Scud had them. They even match close to the Viglia or ITI dials. A lag on the speedo but works. Moral to my Hooplah: Just get Speedhuts. Don't waste your time getting replacement parts if you can't get it to work. I have a set just waiting for when my clocks self destruct.
  22. One thing I learned through the years. Forum drama is f***ing stupid. But Guzzi drama is REALLY f***ing stupid. Get over it. Bury the torquewrench and put your big boy pants on (not gonna drop names but you know who you are). Folks that like these bikes find ways to make them better and the stuff works. Pick a spot to throw your money at and have at it. But the drama and the sh!t talk is just stupid. It's like watching the movie Grumpy Old Men but with Guzzis. Yep, pretty lame. Sucks the fun out of this forum thing.
  23. I have 2 V11s with Todd's map. They're spot on. Best performance mod I did. Not sure how much more power but the bikes will now torque wheelie in 1st with ease. By the butt meter my guess is 10-15hp and much more torque. Also runs smoother at 5k rpm and much much better at sub 3k rpm. Took away the stumble. Waaaaaay better than the Guzzi ecu that came with the racing pipes. Tried it. More noticable difference on the Lemans than the Scura. Im thinking from the heavier flywheel the torque is more felt. But the Scura has better top end. Both have almost the same tune but the 2 bikes have different characteristics. Both positive. I posted prior about the mapping. Great tune. Yes, there are others most likey who can do it. But I got Todd's. Worked for me. The bikes run awesome. But a good fueling tune in these bikes is the best mod you an do. The stock map is just lacking. Works but could be waaaay better.
  24. Power is fun and all but when you're on public unmaintained roads with 120+hp pounding a corner and you feel your rear wheel starting to break free as your butt puckers... Now we see RSV4s with 190rwhp with a map and pipe... My ADD couldn't handle it...πŸ˜…
