  1. Nelson Rigg. Probably the best bang for the buck. Close second is Ogio.
  2. Someone overpaid for a Coppa....
  3. If you're looking for a custom alloy tank and Tankshop won't do it check out Evan Wilcox in Northern California. He's not cheap but he's one of the best in the business and would pull it off spot on. www.wilcoxmetals.Com
  4. Try this guy. He's up in Northern California. He'd do it. I will also add that he isn't cheap but he is one of the best. http://www.wilcoxmetal.com
  5. Might be better off getting a pic of one of his seats and just getting one done by a local upholsterer .
  6. Check your battery. Mine will pop on once in a while. Does it come on after riding 12+ miles or from short rides? Sounds like stupid questions but it kinda matters with these things.
  7. "Carbon fiber " and "cheap " usually don't go in the same paragraph...lol Geelong in Australia is one of the few places still making carbon parts but they're not exactly cheap. Ever think of just buying veneer ? Even veneer though can get pricy. I've been on the hunt for carbon parts for my Scura and Im having a hard time finding and I'm not even looking to go cheap...
  8. Great thread , my fellow Scuraphile.;-)
  9. Got me a cool sticker for the Scura.... Had to have it....
  10. I caught a nail like that on my CTX. I too stared at it not knowing if I should be pissed or impressed. In the end I replaced both tires. I wanted to keep the tire and put it on my wall of shame but in the end decided to trash it.
  11. 2 V11s in the same garage running differently brings diversity (holding hands singing koom-bye-yah ) . ;-)
  12. Racer X(Todd) pretty much summed it up. Consider my post a positive review. Now the wait for Todd to free some time and tune the Scura Nightmare.. (Twiddling thumbs) Hint hint... ;-)
  13. Looking to buy a set for my V11 Scura . Want something other than Mistral round aluminum silencers. Mistral, M4,Mivv, Gianelli ( piped dream) preferably oval and maybe high mount . Nothing dinged up. PM me what you have and a price with a pic. Thx
  14. I have a reflashed Guzzitech ECU. Best bang for the buck. I also have a V11 with a PCIII. The Guzzitech reflash is lightyears better. In fact I'm waiting for Todd to free up some time so I can get the other reflashed. If you want a PCIII cheap in a few months let me know.
  15. They're pretty flat but the rear view is better than the 2"CRGS I was using.
  16. It's Italian . It's always late and shows up when it feels like it.... ;-D
  17. My issue was the rear view and blind spots with the CRGs. These are much better. These are definitely more stable with the vibrations (and waaaaaaaay cheaper to replace than CRGS at 33$ a piece) .
  18. Said " Screw the CRG Bar ends " and put on some Napoleon Baron TT mirrors. I can see now. ;-)
  19. I wouldn't think it would but kind of hoped. A bit too high ..lol Nonetheless it stopped leaking so I guess that little bolt meant much.
  20. See the hole where it seems a 6mm x 30mm hex bolt should be? Well a 6mm x 30mm hey bolt should be there... ;-)
  21. Figured out how to keep my bar ends from spinning with my CRGs! 3 inches of electrical tape inside on that metal bit. Worked like a charm.
  22. Solved my issue and it was stupid. I noticed from the seepage my gear oil was low so I topped it off and cleaned the bike off. A good wash and a layer of Hondaline cleaner. I then took her out . Chatter gone . Got it home and gear oil was oozing out the hole. I look at my Lemans ..... there's a bolt in that hole. I guess it's an overflow hole or something . A 6m x 30mm. Bought a bolt and washer and test rode . Viola. I guess the chatter was my trans telling me she was low. The leak was probably a bolt lost in service or in transit. Thankfully it was a 3$ fix instead of a 5hr fix.
