  1. Thanks knumbnutz for pointing me n the right direction I just gave myself the dork of the week, month, year award. I was sitting on the bike and the stand was down, everything is working perfectly. Rob

  2. This picture does not do this V11 justice. I had the privilege of seeing this magnificent Tenni at the South'n SpineRaid and that's the tightest tail on a V11 ever. Unless you go back to that early Rev-mag photo shoot . . .

  3. Hi, I still get emails asking for the V11 BIN I made available several years ago. I can't find my post with the download links, which don't work anymore anyway, so here's the current download link. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1e7MMuO6vrUZGFfmkCtL3zsW1qeS6uDgY/view?usp=sharing The base setup, and that's quite important to follow to get the best results, is: - TPS set to 157mV with all mechanical connectors removed and throttle completely closed - Both bypass screws completely closed - CO trim set to 0 - Idle sync with both (if so required) throttle stop screws - Running sync as usual And while we at it, here's the link to the Jackal (works with any California with 15M) BIN. Same base setup as V11, but I recommend a larger valve play of 0,3mm for exhaust and intake. The Jackal BIN is quite recent. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Wb2LXrRrgDI1WO0krnb_GeiAvewbwA1K/view?usp=sharing Cheers Meinolf

  4. No surprise that there are those of us anxiously looking this far ahead. Plus, I was reminded that some folks have to put in time-off requests by year end. As ever: Weekend after US Labor Day (Sept. 10-12, 2021) Tellico Plains ,TN, USA Get There. Bring Tools. Here, again, 2021 is Moto Guzzi's centesimo, so we ought to whoop this up! (I'm not at all sure how "whoop this up" translates into Italian). Those riding in from Varsseveld or Bungendore can head out now and have plenty of time to "Get There" . . .

  8. my setup came on the bike and I think the whole thing was put together some time ago, maybe 10-15 years. I searched ebay and found these. (I have not purchased)They appear the same. Mine are nice and bright. I have not found a duplicate of the brake/taillight in any search. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Clear-Black-LED-Stalk-Turn-Signal-Universal-Light-Motorcycle-Stem-Flasher-Saber/173890735611?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 I have small incandescent on the front till I'm bothered enough to figure out the ''led signal flash dilemma". It works that way by just swapping flasher unit. The PO of the parts bike had the signal circuit wired into the dash lamps somehow, and all 4 worked. But I didn't pay attn as to how when I tore it apart. I did see the tell-tale wire splicing later! I think KiwiRoy OR MartyNZ (sorry mates I don't recall which) has a way to wire them through a dash light (?) so all 4 flash correctly. Let me know if you need more precise measurements. the thin alm used on the mudguard is akin to flashing or window wrap used in home construction.

  9. Sure Bob. I thought I'd find a "Tail tidy" topic to place the info. This came up using a topic search. Maybe others can find it the same way.

  12. The bike was pretty new-to-me at the time, the canister came off soon afterwards. Gotta say, I liked the toaster oven on the lower right side. One friend thought the muffler came off a rooftop HVAC unit, but I liked it, a conversation starter. I kept the bike fairly stock, ProTaper handlebar etc., sold it a couple of years later, I was fickle in my youth. The model moved to Montreal and stays connected via Linkedin. That's all I know.

  13. I have 3 Great pairs of gloves for sale each worn no more than 2-3 times on 50 mile rides , one only once ..They are all excellent gloves in excellent condition but too tight for me..I have thick hands short fingers and am getting some arthritis in my thumbs due to life long wrenching, dirt bike riding and weight training, and surgeries so I have a very difficult time finding gloves that fit comfortably . My loss your gain...better you wear them than them sitting here on the shelf. Dainese "4 stroke EVO's"..size 9, worn twice, cost me $250.00....your price $75 Held "Phantom's" size 9, worn 2-3 times , Cost me $300 ..your price $100 Held "Steves Classic" size 9.5 worn 1 time Size 9.5 cost me $170..your price $75 All prices are "Plus" shipping
