  1. I like the Rosso Corsa Diablo II's the best. My Rosso Corsa came with the Diablo II's on it and I loved them, so I put another Set on it when those aged out and they were great too, I Have the Rosso Corsa II's on my Scura right now and they are awesome, in fact I have a new pair of them set aside for when/if these wear out, My Ducati 950 SSS came with the Rosso Corsa III's on it and they are working very well. If Milage is your #1 Concern when buying tires then these may not suit you. If great cornering and smooth transitions into corners at speed and tracking is most important I don't feel you can beat the Rosso Corsa II's. I used to run Michelin's on all my bikes..they were good..but imo no comparison to RC's for the feel I get during more Spirited riding....
  2. I used to see this welcoming attitude and sense of comaraderie amongst the dealerships on the west coast in the US maybe 20 -30 years ago...but certainly not today imo...Yes they are nice before you buy but if you are not buying or have already bought, most have little time for us " tire kickers" nor socializing with customers. This is something that has to be created amongst riders somewhere away from the dealership, sadly...they don't get it . some may argue that point, but in my experience, many dealerships don't even remember a time when for customers it was a place to socialize with like minds and cultivate customer loyalty. Thus we have forums like this...thankfully.
  3. Most of the time...its " Sweetheart".. Occasionally .. it's "You heavy bastard"

  9. I spent 20 years racing desert and hare scrambles nationaly, 10 more just cow trailing.. still didn’t like the way the Hypermotard Handled
  10. I've owned a couple BMW R1100S and R1100RT's, decent bikes...Yawn......Like My friend Mike said..." I had a R1100s...very nice bike, But the whole time I had it no one ever came up and said " Hey! Nice Bike!" Kinda Sums up my feelings.
  11. I had a couple..great motors..one of the ones I had I had pumped..they are good bikes, and easy to maintain... But it is a certain kind of riding style for sure and not a good 2up bike..If you don't ride up on the tank and keep the front end fully weighted into corners you'll find yourself on your can quick..don't ask how I know. Also the front brakes are very touchy at low speeds partly because the front end is so light....a new RCS19 Brembo master helps that some.
  12. I wonder what Derby is like, I did the Ancestory.com thing as a gift from my wife, and many of my Ancestors from the 1600-mid 1800's were from Derby, the rest from Wales, I have been around Europe but not the Uk yet ....someday maybe
  13. Had both and agree, If Im headed into a fast sweeper at 85-90 mph ..my Scura feels planted and predictable in my riding style. As did my Rosso Corsa.
  14. If you like Jazz, big band or Trumpet music..or music in general ..or if you think your getting older like me and want some motivation..this is an excellent biographical film about an amazing guy on PBS which I watched last night..I had no idea as to his level of commitment to his art, or the lifelong background and the depth of experience with other artists. https://www.pbs.org/wnet/americanmasters/stream-never-too-late-doc-severinsen-story-documentary/17495/
  15. I've been told its a good idea to mark a new notch on your dipstick just at the bottom of the plate while installing it ..thats what I did.
  16. Like a caged Greyhound..waiting to get out and RUN!
  17. Indeed..the BT 46 works really well on my 1999 Bassa...one of the few front and rear matching tires available in the required size for these type early bikes. I'm not tracking it...lol
