  1. I think all the riding you do has kept it off the side stand just as much.
  2. I also have one on the lift table. Roll the bike on and it stand by itself. Then you can leisurely put the straps on. You can pull the front part off with the bike on it if you need to remove the front wheel. I use a center stand for the bikes that have one or a flat jack for the Guzzi.
  3. For us more frugal Guzzi owners. https://www.harborfreight.com/1800-lb-capacity-motorcycle-standwheel-chock-61670.html
  4. I would never have a bike with a self-retracing side stand. I rode my dad's K75 and the side stand retracted when you pulled in the clutch. On my 850T that I had and on my Nortons the side stands are so long you can't forget them. I have seen people ride off with those long side stand out but they were always drunk.
  5. I'm surprised you didn't delete it.
  6. It was only a year ago. Did you think I’d be done by now? Been working on bikes instead.
  7. Well, crap. Just up the road too. Decent price. Why didn't you put them on? They'll sound great!
  8. People here are generally far nicer than most places on the internet.
  9. I bet you could presell more than a few. They do show up for sale occasionally. You should get prices for a few ranges. 1, 10, 50. Especially since they are readily available. https://www.ebay.com/itm/132489689696
  10. What has happened is the additional thickness of the tail section has raised the seat. The raise seat has raised the cowl which is attached to the seat. A couple options: Shorten the seat base. Normally this would be bad as it would hit stuff under the seat like the ECU but in your case it might work. Changing the seat base may require altering the foam and upholstery. Shorten the seat and move the cowl mounting points. It's not just the foam that needs to be lowered but the cowl mounting points too. No need to trim the cowl. In fact if you do it may fit worse.
  11. You have added thickness to parts. I would actually be surprised if they fit. The thicker carbon layer on the tail section has raised your seat. The cowl (because it's attached to the seat is going to be higher. To get the cowl to fit you'll need to lower the seat somehow. Or shorten the seat. No amount of sun is going to help.
  12. We eagerly await the results of your experiment.
  13. So they laid carbon fiber over the existing tank and seat? I hope the carbon fiber is flexible because the tank sure is. What happens when the tank swells? Are you hoping the lining prevents that?
  14. Mirrors are so old fashioned.

I see you didn’t doubt me on the porn part.

I use Imgur only because if they went anywhere the 14 trillion cat memes on the internet would go away. And we know thats not happening. The internet runs on two things, cat memes and porn.
  17. The appropriate action would have been to tell the client to hold on. There's nothing wrong with you rewatching it 14 more times... not that I've done that. If you look in the video's description you'll even see a link to the forum there.
  18. Mike is a scrappy lad, I'm sure he could have taken us both on!
  19. I didn't know they came with DBKs. How can you tell?
  20. I can't believe no one mentioned the forum call out.
  21. I figure I wouldn’t get much push back with that comment.
  22. So my buddy Mike has been filming a series of interviews at his Cul De Sac. It's a way to socially distance and still get a motorcycle fix during this wee pandemic. It's mostly British bikes because, well, that's what his channel is about but that doesn't mean there can't be some diversity. Some of his viewers have been clamoring for some Guzzis so I rounded up my friend Terry and gave them a double dose. The channel is at http://themightygarage.com and if you like great motorcycle videos then consider subscribing. New videos are released at least once a week and this time of year even more often.
  23. I put that into Google without safe search on...
