  1. La Franconi on a plate
  2. clean bike.
  3. I'm with docc on this. Get the rear wheel up and your eyes in close. If the shift lever touches the pork chop at any point it's enough to cause the problem.
  4. I wonder if a couple of slightly longer allens would give better purchase, if there's room of course.
  5. I feel a disturbance in the Force...
  6. yes it does. can't wait
  7. new bike-adventure, fire, steak, the heartland. what could be better.
  8. Truly a great site. Browse it often. RIP Mr. Daley
  9. rear rotor g, so no buttons.
  10. beautiful as ever. Interesting vehicle to the far left. Are they a common sight?
  11. Molte grazie! ...on a side note, intake pods seem quite popular there, and with the competition crowd.
  12. Biglangster it sounds to me you’ll be handling challenges with a positive outlook, though visualizing your trip does make me pine for my sheepskin seat topper.
  13. Hear hear! Sad times for our UK friends.
  14. Life drama is keeping me close to home this week. Will miss you guys. I'll have to wait for the next installment of "Lifestyles of the Cheap and Restless" and settle for whiskey dreams and beaver nugget wishes I suppose. Rain in the clouds ain't so bad if you have an Aerostich (or comparable) and an anti fog visor/lens. 28 N out of Franklin is not a great road for rain riding. jussayin. Have fun gents.
  15. looks like a piece of flattened finger lying on the floor there Bill.
  16. thats likely a broken shift selector spring. You'll want to get one of the new design installed. Member Scud has them. Might be some extras with members in Europe. Fairly easy fix.
  17. I think patina when I see one like this. Surface rust and lovingly sun faded. Beautiful in it's way.
  18. sorry guys, I'll always choose the red pill.
  19. It's been several years but I used some old stripper I had on hand from before the eco terrorists took over and ruined everything that works. It was still not easy. Took several days and about 6 or more applications. I wish I'd had my pressure washer then. I had it sealed up very well. The bubbly stuff came off fairly easily but the coating under was a different story. I ended up leaving some on and it turned out well. Only thing I've used lately is for and on wood cabinets. Pretty good, still took 3 coats, and a power wash. Klean strip premium stripper. I've heard about aircraft stripper, still don't know what it is. All else I've used from the box stores do nothing. Let us know what you find and the results. ..and welcome to the forum!
  20. it's more to my Sunday morning music but I'll take it on a Saturday.. Jerry is arguably the best steel player in the world but I picked this one for John Hiatt, a man in our younger day who often played in a lounge I tended bar in. Bit of a bohemian in those days
  21. Nice Jaap. Don't know what they are singing about but music communicates on many levels. Puts me in the mind of Iris Dement. With top shelf accompaniment Emmylou, Jerry Douglas and Aly Bain.
