  1. Gorgeous! At some point, could we pleeease.. hear it?
  2. Thanks Marty. I had heard of doing this so I did it as soon as I got home. I used a 4" iron pipe and a body hammer. Waiting on s/s rivets now. I'm glad I got to read that thread. I may add to it with some photos when I complete my very important mission. We like our Titanium.
  3. yeah, from the look of that x-ray, we could have installed the parts as well. though you would have had to "drink from the jar" and probably bite on a stick.
  4. those look nice. I can't work out "folding" option on them. what is that? the shorties are the way to go and... Pazzo does not list the V11... ?
  5. the folding toes are the bomb. I think I should wait till I settle on the levers, and then see how friendly they'll be to the folders.
  6. As far as I can tell... yes
  7. A 'no speed' drop left me with a broken rear brake pedal last weekend (and a squished Ti can ). The lever is a cheap casting, or as Docc explained ... "delicate" , so I don't want another one of those. I've been looking and found this http://www.mgcycle.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=50&products_id=4388 The silver one is out of stock but I kinda like the black. There is no black matching for the shifter. Not a big deal, I can paint/powder it. I do not want the extended versions. I like stock positions. Does anyone have another option in mind? Harpers has one but not as nice as this one (at least I think). Part 2 of this question is for the brake and clutch hand levers. My bar brake lever was only slightly bent but if it had snapped, my day would have been very different. I was reminded of my nephew having a crash on his VFR and spending the rest of the trip with vice grips as a clutch lever. Now that my new RAM clutch is installed and ever so light, I'm thinking about those short and sweet racy levers. I'll carry my stock ones with me for insurance. I think several members have them and wonder what I should look for. thanks
  8. would like to go. not this time.
  9. hope you are feeling ok
  10. Just enough green, ... and Guzzi whirrrr
  11. Docc, I hope someone got a good portrait of your bike to share. I never found it in a good spot to shoot one. That thing was looking so good, especially the dash view.
  12. Nice trip. Thanks for the report
  13. WoW, looking great Scud. That one is special. Docc, I watched the Italian vid. I understood him say "naked" and "monster" in English. Didn't really need any translation for the ad.
  14. and ok, I did take a few of #121. There is also one of Bill's VStrom, but my bike got in the way again I'm afraid... I had a great time. You guys are the best. Every time I do a trip I say I'm going to take more pictures, and I never do. Havin' too much fun, I suppose. We need more of this life
  15. On day one Bill and I went to the 'Wheels through time' museum. Mostly HD's and had to ride thru mostly HD's but it's worth it to see this guy's place. Too many bikes too little time. This one got my vote as favorite .. this is Chuck's Aero from this summer, at a vintage meet... 'cause.. he was with us in spirit... no? these two were riding the TAT and stopped in for the night.
  16. here's some real pretty bikes..
  17. Send your pics to Dave or me (I'm Dave too!) We'll post anything you have
  18. ^^^^ keep us posted ^^^^
  19. I had the same thought Dave. He's a master!
  20. Dang... good thing it's so far away from me
  21. missed you guys!
  22. we're here. the colors are flying. weather is fantastic. we're headed to 'wheels thru time' tomorrow. see you soon
  23. Whats the difference in the ECU , does anyone have specs ... availability, something compatible? The ecu is what comes with the Guzzi accessory Ti kit,... cans and ecu. Don't forget the Uh Leans suspension.
  24. The GB doesn't do it for me, tho it's certainly rare. The Coppa is tarted up just the way all the V11 should be. I could see me coughing up 7500. at most. He might get 12 from a "collector". The Vincent is the sweetheart of that rodeo. And outa my league. Thanks for the pics!
