Motorcycle Grand Tour of Texas, 2025 edition.
PJPR01 replied to p6x's topic in Meetings, Clubs & Events
Eric…I think you would be very happy on a solid Norge for touring! Here’s mine from earlier in the year at Rusk camp ground! Hard to beat for all day comfort, great in the twisties with an upgraded suspension and high speed touring… - Today

Wow indeed, very impressive operation they have and some great pics. Looking forward to some video.

Oh, @Scud I'm in La Jolla. A nice meet point could be at the 15&78 and head north to Castle/Lilac/Couser and Palomar. I'm retired so weekdays are good. If you have a nice route from Carlsbad, I'm happy to try it.
-
Hi @scud, I just saw this. I ordered a plate from GP about a month ago. If it doesn't come in soon, I'll cancel and swing by. In either event, let's go for a ride soon. I have never ridden with another V11 owner. My Lemans is loving this cooler weather, has even stopped using oil! So I have rings/gaskets in reserve.

Next time I'll have a more appropriate steed...perhaps a Norge. Don't forget to upload your 'Ride Texas' mag picture as a separate stop- I hadn't seen that it's stop #0. -

V11 Le Mans 2003 - Champagne full fairing kit (used and damaged)
Ali Fra replied to Ali Fra's topic in Personal Ads
Hey there, I have no subframe, since I had V11 Le Mans, not Sport model. I did not need it. But if you are interested in, this is a complete, good condition fairing kit. Only one part has a damage but not crack. Just deep scratches. Let me know how can I help if you are interested in Have a nice Sunday! -

Same here. As I am interested in converting one of the V11 Sports to a LeMans, this is an interesting kit. Aloli Fra, is the subframe for the fairing also part of the set? - Yesterday

No Swedish torque wrenches. 2 Snap-on, BRITOOL(UK),Usaq(Italia),Teng and Biltema. A good addiction. % no clue. Cheers Tom.
-
Very complete set of torque wrenches! All the way from Umeå to Luleå and everywhere in between. A Greenie, a Coppa and a Nero...someone has an addiction to V11's I would say, what is that, approximately 30% of all of the V11's in Norway?

Good plan.

That brings to mind the Ford Falcon GTHO Phase III. For the uninitiated, that was an homologation special based on a four door family car in the early '70s to race in a particular touring car class in Australia. Even though I'm more on the Holden side of the Ford-Holden debate, I have to admit it was a very, very interesting car. There was some special stuff on them, but nothing that couldn't be sourced after-market after a few years. The point is, sometime in the late '80s or early '90s I heard that there were substantially more of them currently registered than were ever produced. This is one, althought the yellow colour was not that commion, I think. I always think of them as white (with the stripes), or maybe red. Well, I'm not jealous. Not at all. Really. Weellll, maybe a tiny bit... One thing though: why is the Roper Plate hanging on the wall instead of doing it's thing in a bike? Ok, mine is not installed yet either, but I don't have a workshop like that for myself alone, and I still go to work for a living.

That is not a mere "garage." More of a working museo.

Nero in for a full service, A to Å. Yes even further than xyz, Å, 29 letters. 21 + years paint in black metallic came out amazing with 3layers of ceramic coating. Bloody hell, they bring so much joy. 47k km now, like new. Ok will do the bushings on the gear lever. Wrong bolt for the job, to many treds in the wrong place. IPA time yes. Cheers Tom.
