  2. Just emailed my reservation request. I am reminded that a "Jotform account" is not required . . . The building and room layout is "less than intuitive." Building 3 is the "Premier Rooms." Building 4 is over the garage . . .

  3. Thanks for the nudge. Have been busy for weeks (and still am) with MGTD '24 prep ... and making sure I use all of Kathi's energy in that before she launches for Seattle tomorrow. She's not about to stay around for the belching, snoring, and BS session that MGTD is. Anyway, just reserved our stay, and asked for 301 again. Bill

  4. Wow! That's some incentive! But as I explained to Docc in a PM; it's a bit tricky to plan a trip to the States this far ahead. And when I'm there I'd like to extend my vacation a bit to explore the SE of the US.

  5. Mate If it happens again try flicking the Kill switch a few times.... I had this issue twice last year when the bike wasn't ridden for 4-6 weeks.....I know the shame! Anyways worked a treat till I rode her more frequently! Cheers Ps I think it was her way of telling me she don't like to be left alone!

  6. For the fun of it, I checked out Tellico Plains on Goggle Maps. I wish I hadn't... If only we had roads like that in the Netherlands! *drool emoji

  9. Late 90ies it was do-able on the west side of the isle, Kirkmichael Glenn Wylln campsite. My god that is more than 20 years ago. Huh, I have more memories than I will ever make. It seems the classic TT in September is a bit of the old atmosphere. A couple of friends went there several times the last 10 years, good stories and a magnet for the old TT riders as well. Agostini, Read (+), and the ones that are still there from the great era of motorsports.

  12. Another member sourced the High Current OMRON G8HE from China via eBay and found them to be legit. While OMRON no longer produces them, it is not unlikely that some resourceful Chinese company bought up the NOS from other suppliers and has marked them up. Not sure what the US dollar price is on US eBay, but ~22 Euro for four is not bad (depending on the shipping). Of course, the price doubles if you want to buy five, because of their packaging quantity . . .

  14. Recycled. Not much good for anything. Almost all plates are sent. Once all payments are in, I'll do the donation and let Pete know it's done.... The one that was left over is available for Dragonknee and I emailed him. Will send payment details to the overseas guys this weekend. US Mail will likely take a couple weeks.... but was by far the cheapest option. As an example, UPS to Victoria, Australia was something like $260 USD. Mail was $39 USD.... SO ..... this means Guzzler really can live up to his name and guzzle the saving... $221 USD of beer! Please send a photo of a row of beers Guzzler! Cheers.

  15. Have you checked the web for Italian labor union strikes? There may be some sympathy programmed in somewhere. Couple of months ago, My V11 would not activate the starter on one particular day. Key off and on numerous times, pump priming, clutch in and out. Finally had to pop a vein and bump start it. Cleaned the micro-plunger in the clutch safety micro switch, the micro switch clicked in and out as it should. Was fine for a couple of weeks, then did it again, but has not ever since. I do now tend to park with a grade to bump start it though. We hear a lot about "AI" these days. I am much more concerned with "IE" - Italian Electrics.

  17. In recent years, these winter months turned out to be the right time to make advance reservations at The Lodge at Tellico. I know some of you dedicated Spine Raiders make your reservations when checking out the year before. FWIW, the innkeeper ordinarily doesn't grant reservations a year out. For us, he makes an exception. Which speaks volumes about the caliber and character of Spine Raiders.
