But she looks v nice half undressed in the garage have another homemade IPA More later,, cheers Tom.

  3. And some days are even better when on your 120 miles long twisty favorite road, not to much brakes, ( 70 - 80miles ) more like an eagle, and it feels all natural, great. Heard in a pub in England, no never know how fast you can take that curb before you fell of
  4. Hi Seems to me Docc,, your not to impressed, you didnt try it in the rain ? My experience was worse in the wet. Better led bulbs beeing produced all the time ? Be great to find one that realy works, m better. Gluing things together, hm. And is there realy a way to clean the reflector without making thiny marks ? Anbody tried a sealed 7" H4 led headlight from Grote ? Doesnt look to modern. Someday we will see better, saying from an 1953m. Cheers tom

  6. Hm,, to early questions after finding this tread. A lot of reading if you have now clue. Will read some more here, and then questions to Meinolf.( PC 3 on the Corsa) Thanks tom
  7. Docc Like MartyNZ say, BMW part #. 07559062476 . That MP 3 grease is super for spline use, realy sticky. Tom
  8. Hi Meinolf Iam trying your links to check my Co,,, but thats not easy,,, for a guy who is not a computer guy... Is a donation the right way to go, to get going ? Im not a cheep charly, but what is a fair amount ? My computer is saying something like, cant open XDF files ? I would realy like to try this link, instead of starting the bike, its snow and cold up here in Norway at the time. A step by step for computer dummies like me would be perfect. Havent found that on the forum. A clutch job is like having a great desert compare to the interweb thing. Any advice will be highly apreciated. Thanks Tom
  9. Steve S Chlutch problem solved, changed everything. Thanks for input. Tom. Norway
  10. Roy Seems to me this must be a piece of cake for you,,, Making a V simple new wiring system. I know for sure I buy one. I wonder how many wires can you Get away with,,, even pump, starter aso ? And yes I will print the page,,,, just to scare me Thanks tom. Norway
  11. When I look at my I plate after about 30000m big difference to doccs plate, picture included hopefully. Any Else out there with loose friction material,,,, Better rivets ?? Inspection camera is on the list. Have 400m with the new clutch now, all perfect. A little heavier on the lever with 5 red springs, but good feeling and save trips to the Tarzan factory. Error file to big to upload.......[docc-edit: added photo of Tom's intermediate plate / hosted by ImgZeit] Tom. Norway
  12. Docc I put in the original clutch, ended up paying around 750$ with the tools. Main point for me was an 8 hour drive, and then having all the parts I needed. Bike back on the road few hours later Tom. Norway
  13. Can you guys rest my mind thinking about modifying push button instead of the rod,,, havent seen one, ( only for the 2plates ) but will it be weaken;d to much ? Soon finished docc. tom Norway
  14. docc I found a guy over here making the tool to take off the gear hub, you need one. I bought one about 85-90$ tom
  15. Led experience. Yes its bright as H, but like Luhbo said, a matched headlamp + bulb = expensive, will work. I installed 4 H7 Leds in my 93 Audi S4. the ones with fans seems to have shorter life. So 350$ later, and dont mention the hassle installing,,,, wires , boxes. It was great in the garage, except can bus error, wasnt supposed to happen with those bulbs. Had to install resistors,, and they are getting HOT, mening V HOT. The point, they only light up like 20feet in front of the car, and in rain, real bad. So Phillips EXTREME vision 130%, 55-60watt worked a lot better in my case. tom Norway (we need god light up here)
  16. Like docc explained, no kranking, bullet connectors. Im absolutely no electrician, just a little common sense, and try to follow advice. Omron relays made my day, they even weigh more. Mouser.com. I made it, so will you !!
  17. Fotoguzzi Took starter out yesterday, starter gear All dry, and no oilmess inside, no cat smell. No oil from weep Hole. Scud was explaing about the springs, 50 - 50 hard and soft, which In my case seems probably correct. Dont think the friction plates are gone after 49000km
  18. Problem solved,,, at least I went thru all conections before my relays showed up. Wish there was a picture of everybodys face ( smile ) when things are solved. New omrons, fuel pump going Thanks for all input. Tom Norway
  19. 68C The file was to big to upload,,, meaning Im lost, but its made by Eureka chemical compay.
  20. Will try to send a picture, name a little later
  21. Hi 68C Lanolin oil, made from sheeps,, bæ bæ, made for US army, to protect ballast tanks on big ships. Its been used for undercoating cars to. I always used white acid free vaseline, but this oil doesnt dry, and it spreads in all directions, like I told Roy, spray it inside your car door, and it climbs upwards, impresses me, and of corse non conductive.
  22. Roy GOT the switch out perty easy, open it without breaking it with old drilling hands, I will look at it tomorrow. Lanolin oil from bæ bæ,sheeps, invented for US armyfor ballast tanks on ships. It climbs, doesnt dry out, spray half of your CAR door, shortly it climbs to the top of the door. Thanks Roy
  23. Thanks guys. Kiwi Roy, I will try to follow your advice, just waiting for my relays. S stand switch is gone for sure. Now Im trying to open the ignition switch, not funny.
  24. Update. Did take my tank of today, went thru all connections with Lanolin, a little loose ground on the left side of the frame. But all the same, no noise from fuel pump. Ordered 15 Omron relays today from Mouser.com in Sweden 32nkr - about 3.20$ a piece. They had 672 in stock. The side stand switch is definitly not working, easy to check. But since my fuel pump is not priming,,, RELAY ? Hopefully relays at the end of the week.
