What about the Andreani cartridges that have become available for the V11?

Keep an eye on the classifieds (and ebay) for a used set. Watch out for damage to one side as the cans often take the hit in a tip-over (or slide). This is an older thread an unpacking the factory cans:

Interesting! So, the added ball bearing effectively lengthens the clutch push rod?

I just paid Toyota $135US to log on to my vehicle and defeat a remote feature that I had paid them #135US to activate. "Cost of ownership", I thought. If it were a motorcycle , I would be throwing a hissy-fit!

WTB-Green V11 sport..Or maybe a red or silver or black...
docc replied to ajsmith184's topic in 24/7 V11
Going for a Greenie is okay, really, bud. You just need to know where it goes, this V11 thing. I mean, when in doubt, ask the other inmates on the ward if we're really >that < crazy . . . and start to practice your "GreenieStrut" . . . -
$20.52 at AF1. Be aware that most site searches will not process the part number with the spaces and some will not process the "GU" prefix while others require the GU prefix. Of the three sources, AF1 has the best maintained website and online search/availability notations. Yet, thay never actually sold the V11 while both Curtis Harper and Gordon at MGCycle actually know this model. https://www.af1racing.com/store/Scripts/prodList.asp

01 66 14 60 "bracket" Could not find it at MGCycle, but here it is on Harper's ($17.08US). BTW, both those places, it is really best to call and ask for availability. http://www.harpermoto.com/?subcats=Y&status=A&pshort=N&pfull=N&pname=Y&pkeywords=Y&search_performed=Y&q=01661460&dispatch=products.search

Between those three, I seem to be able to get everything for the Sport as long as the generous members of the V11LeMns.com community remain. Very occasionally, ebay. Which has (mostly) worked out.

I seem to recall identical valve settings for both intake and exhaust, something like 0,30mm / 0.012" (?) Here is Meinolf's post, again, with the link to the current map (93_6) and his instructions on other settings (except for the valve settings) . . .

Cheers to one and all!

Welcome aj! You have come to the right place! In the Classifieds is gio’s nice green Sport in Canada, antiqar’s silver Sport in California, and a really nice Rosso Mandello. Happy hunting! -
My actual paygrade reveals me, once again. I am but a humble knuckle dragger here . . . .

My recent mistress at "The Memphis Room" I am fortunate to be invited to sit in . . . What a rich, sultry sound she has! (Don't tell my Fender Bassman at home . . .)

Seems I cannot reply on that thread . . .

That would be a learning experience! I've used guzzidiag on several V11 and a 1200Sport, but never have loaded a map. I did watch the late Bruce Lawson load one at the roadside on doslemans' V11.

Such that 93_6 is the latest and most refined? I would like to get that link to your latest map pinned to a dedicated thread that all can find easily. (Perhaps, one day I will stop being the poster child for the factory map and take the plunge! ) Thanks, again, Meinolf! Well done!

Mechanic and charlatan

And here, I thought it was Moto Guzzi turning riders into mechanics (since 1921 !) . . . Fine, fine looking Kawi Zed, footgoose! -
So, I am confused when it is said someone has your map "#58" or "#90" and how that relates to "93_6" . . .

+1 on the "2 scales." Plus you get the "weight distribution."

Took a bit of looking, but Scud posted an image of the two different input hubs side-by-side. (The entire thread by sp838 is very informative regarding the RAM clutch.) Can a twin-plate hub actually be turned into a single-plate style hub by having it machined?

Throttle pop at 1500 continued now just through right TB
docc replied to Colorobo's topic in Technical Topics
So, valve adjustment and fresh plugs is a super easy approach to getting that out of the equation. Lots of folks have found looser valve lash to be helpful n smoothing out the pops and hiccups. -
So, it is not just the pad, but the whole hard shell cover?
