  1. I love that (1400) motor! Yet, that pic has some really distorted *photo-shoppish* things going on . . .
  2. Moto Guzzis and *bad* girls . . . Yet . . . I'm not entirely sure which one of those is the *bad* one . . .
  3. You too, blue lightweight?

    M4 mufflers

What with these V11 getting on in their years, I wonder who all is still making canisters for this fitment?
  6. I still love the way your kid is pointing right at you in your avatar.
  7. I recall the distinction of being assigned to (confined to?) the grills at my wife's Italian family's reunion some years ago. Here, I was instructed in the delicate art of grilling the long coils of Italian sausage. I could not help but notice the recurring requests of the eldest of the attendees for their sausage, "Nero! Nero! Nero!" ("Black! Black! Black!) :ninja: I suppose it only takes once or twice getting the *pink* pork at a cookout to develop these mature opinions . . . So, I say paint it black or make it pink . . . the results of the latter may cause you to change your mind next time.

In truth, the troubleshooting flow chart starts with : 12v to Fuse 8 That's where my *Indicator light* is wired. (The former Electric Petcock connector)
  9. The purpose of the 30 amp Fuse 3 is to route the charging current to the battery, which is (I believe) what Kiwi_Roy means by "handling the charging." So, the M-Unit doesn't house this circuit and you would need external 30 amp circuit protection for the charging ("Fuse 3") anyway?

    Big bright blue eyes

What a great package! Excellent results! Awesome how the Griso rocker covers change the whole look of the motor.

  12. That'd still make a pretty decent washer!
  13. I think you deserve a trophy. I've got a crispy Maxi fuse holder you could display proudly!
  14. Can't get that to link, Chuck . . . Fixed it here: http://www.flyhummel.com/ultra-cruiser
  15. That would be a Chuck-idea . . .

  17. Yes, get a properly chipped cable (OBD->USB), download the correct drivers for your computer's OS, and then it is "plug & play." Diagnostic Cables (Really) Basic guzzidiag tutorial for V11

Moan . . . "plumber's tools" to work on our Guzzis . . . and, now, it's all over the internet.
  19. Here is a neat Ultra Light that some of you home builders might really like. http://betterhalfvw.com/ *cute* . . . but . . . probably doesn't have the power-to-weight ratio of a V11 Moto Guzzi.

    Brand-new Scura

I thought I was gonna sleep ok tonight, and now this . . . (When Moto Guzzi replaced my throttle bodies / injectors under warranty for *dripping*, the whole assembly was replaced. They are, apparently, not designed to come apart once assembled.)
  22. I love my "Edge Guards." Sadly, he doesn't make them anymore; he offered up the kit to build them, but nobody took him up on it. Three pieces of thermo-molded plastic that protect the shock, shock eye, and battery area above and forward of the "hugger." Seems it was Bjorn (?) that built some alloy pieces that are very similar.
  23. *I don't know* but I'd expect is is corrosion. I had a fair amount of relay problems with the Mighty Scura when it used to sit for extended periods near the ocean. Stew . . . which relay? What make was it?
