I sent my tach n speedo (white face Veglias) to PaloAlto Speedo Service ....They went through them and repainted the needles. Very good but call for prices. My cost was around $250.00 ?
Is there anyone riding these bikes that has good knees ? I thought being left-handed and a Mac owner were the requirements....
p.s. my knees are killing me too.
Are you changing the engine oil and oil filter ? You can go to a FASTENAL store or an auto parts store and purchase a nut measuring 1" across the nut flats and use it to remove the manhole cover. This contains the oil filter and it acts as the drain plug.
You should remove the lines and go to an automotive parts store and ask for the matching hoses. Make sure you get the best quality and tell them it is for high pressure fuel injection hose.
Good job.... Docc purchased this # in Oct. 2008 . It should work. You will have to set this TPS after installing it. You can find articles here to set this adjustment.
The cost was around $46 USD in 2008.
Someone on this site posted THE Harley-Davidson part # for this item. Much less than the MotoGuzzi part.
Congratultions on diagnosing your problem ! Good work.
I suspect the intake air temp sensor or the oil temp sensor. Either the sensor or the connection. These would cause the computer to think the engine is VERY cold causing a fully rich condition. This will foul the plugs like this...
I use Golden Spectro cartridge fork oil... Contact a Moto Guzzi dealer about the fork seals. There are wiper seals you will see and another seal inside the fork tube . There should be bushings inside the fork also you should replace.. Have you looked on Youtube for Ohlins fork rebuild for instructions before you start ? Google Ohlins fork parts for a supplier...
PM me about a front fender......... I have a perfecly good one. I think someone sells a jazzed up oil cooler bracket , Google it to see if they do. Get the rest of the things from MG Cycle. You could also try Moto International for parts...
If the other calipers use the same style banjo fitting , you can go with your brake hoses .
When you go together with this , Performance Friction sells a DOT 4 brake fluid that looks like the way to go.
I am sorry but there is too much wind noise to hear the engine running.
The translation from your language to English ( for me) is difficult to understand.
Can you post a picture of your spark (the part that goes into the combustion chamber) plugs so we can look at them to see how they look ?
Did this condition start after a backfire while you were riding ?
