  1. You *are* running 10-60, right?
  2. Tomek, have you checked the yellow wires coming out of the alternator? From memory, they should show around 45 volts AC at 4000 rpm or so.
  3. Wat Docc sez. Until you get the sag *right* you are just pissin in the wind.
  4. John sez I've had both, and prefer the fly screen. What you would have had was a lot of helmet wind noise and buffeting. The only place the LeMans fairing is better, IMHO, is in rain. Oh.. it looks kooler, too.. so that's 2 out of 3.
  5. Thelonious (my old friend) is the man. Oh, sorry, Robert. No disrespect intended whatsoever. RIP.
  6. Agreed. I stick a length of .020 safety wire in the female side of the two wires, push the connector together, attach a couple of alligator clips, and Robert's your Mother's brother. Saves 30 dollars. (Guzzi content) Now you tell me. Looks like I was a half hour too late. well, really.. the breakout harness is much more elegant. I wish I had one.. but 30 dollars? I could buy a used tire for that. (snapping suspenders)
  7. I tole you Guzzis are "different." BMW.. Pffffft.
  8. Agreed. I stick a length of .020 safety wire in the female side of the two wires, push the connector together, attach a couple of alligator clips, and Robert's your Mother's brother. Saves 30 dollars. (Guzzi content)
  9. You can do it right there at the TPS or back at the ECU.
  10. Docc replied as I was going to. Looks like he has it covered.
  11. Oh, I was lookin at the wrong pticher. You're right..
  12. Naa, it's just green gaskets.. you're not foolin me..
  13. That is disgustingly nice looking..
  14. Getting ready for the Carolina mini Spine Raid, I installed my favorite grips, some old Napoleon mirrors and a throttle lock that Fotoguzzi said he liked.. 2017-04-23_09-09-39 by Charles Stottlemyer, on Flickr I haven't gotten used to how it looks yet, but in the midwest it's more important to see what's behind you (Cop?) than to have the narrowness of lane splitters. 2017-04-23_09-08-46 by Charles Stottlemyer, on Flickr
  15. Just makes it easier. You can stick a couple of straight pins into the harness connector, but that's so gauche.
  16. Copied and pasted from the Indiana Guzzi list. I cut the address and phone number so it wouldn't be all over the internet. Give me a PM if you want to come. Chuck Please let everyone know about the upcoming 11th Annual Moto Guzzi spaghetti feed. Everyone is welcome, even if they don't actually have a Guzzi. (They know who they are.) Sunday April 30, 2017 1:00 p.m. Home of David & Diana Dugger Frankfort, Indiana
  17. ^^^^ yep.
  18. No. It's for the wide sump V11s. Sounds like you have a plugged crankcase breather.
  19. I had thought of that too. Except it would route the hoses right into the top of the crossover. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Then the burnt emissions are sent harmlessly into the atmosphere.. another Guzzi engineering marvel by Luigi.
  20. Thanks, but I'm not bringing enough stuff for cooking for a hundred..
  21. I'll be darned.. I thought they were NLA. I know a guy that is looking for one.
  22. Hello. Earth calling. Not that I've ever done anything like that..
  23. Those two brass looking thingys (technical term) are probably to route hoses through would be my guess. You have an issue with your shifter.. it shouldn't move like that.
  24. Thanks for the link, Docc.. I didn't even know there was a band called BR5 49. Loved the video.
  25. You sure you don't have those tear drops? I remember the Kid talking about them.. maybe he decided not to do it.
