  2. PayPal address? Bike trip w/cash? Have been distracted as of late, wrangling to get health insurance to help pay for a $178,000/year drug that keeps me alive.
  3. Yesterday
  4. You could be totally correct on the congestion and fees But I tend to take a more nuanced view 😏
  5. The Allen head bolt in purple is the one you want lubricated well . When I did my rigging , I got a l.h. threaded rod end and a stud that had l.h. and r.h. threads so I could adjust the shift lever height. A great improvement. I think I got this stuff from Midwest Controls ?
  6. Job done. As close to the picture as possible. Cheers Tom.
  7. Yes, I think Hackney is the best Stones record since Tattoo You, although Stripped is really good but it's all legacy stuff. This record isn't in the category of the current big hits. I'm guessing the Stones fans are too old and the music isn't relating to the younger folk. But the music business is changed. The band rocks, they're really solid group, the songs are some gems. So for as what shows and where I'll go this year is a real question mark. At least I can say I've seen the Stones a few time. The last time in 10k seat indoor arena with a 2nd stage and walkway. Mick looked my in the eye every time he turned left, I was his visual stage mark. They played "Moonlight Mile", the only tour they ever played so far as I know. Did they open with Honky Tonk or Start Me Up? or?
  8. The Stones show started at 9:15, ran for 2 hours, about 15 minutes shorter than a normal show per the hard core fanatics…but the opening act of Gary Clark was enough to compensate…tremendous blues player. Compared to the 2019 show here in Houston, it was just as good and equally as enjoyable. Keef a bit more sedate but did a great rendition of T&A…
  9. There is a big black window where the picture should show. Do you have that too? not that I am in the market for it, but I like to look at other's motorcycle. You can tell a lot about the person, by simply looking at their motorcycles. Wait? I have heard that before....
  10. Chanel was on all but she really shined on Sweet Sounds, Sympathy…her voice is SPECTACULAR and she has stage presence like Tina Turner…just amazing! I have been watching the YouTube videos of the show and even what I recorded and honestly Sweet Sounds just gets better and better. The Hackney Diamonds album is phenomenal, even the Video for Angry is very special…linking the Stones history with some amazing lip synched graphics to old billboards. As amazing as the music was, the stage and lighting were equally as spectacular. I am tempted to go pick up another couple of shows as well! ENJOY the shows if you go…you will not be disappointed! I would love to see a concert at the Sphere…that will be a very unique experience for sure
  11. I sent the smoke signal last night, should be good - thx!
  12. Are you referring to the bolt circled in purple or green? (or somewhere else) I did remove the entire shift lever and the bolt circled in purple, cleaned and lubed during the install of the shift extender. I have not made any adjustments to the bolt/mechanism circled in green yet.
  13. A large proportion? We have about 50.000 farmers in NL, and maybe 200 have sold their farm. Most of them have no successor and they sold their farm voluntarily and for good money. So no, I don't think we have a lot of newbie bikers here that are former farmers. Why the increase? My guess is road congestion and parking fees.
  14. The bolt that acts as a pivot might be rusted in the bore of the shifter. The nut on the end is a locknut and the frame is threaded holding the shifter in place . Back off the nut a couple of turns and back off the bolt one revolution . If the shifter tries to move with the bolt it is rusted in place . Remove the bolt and lubricate everything and reinstall . Test it and see if it is better.
  15. Develop a test procedure for everything . You will understand why after payiing for not needed parts . AKA , the education is nice but the tuition is killing me !
  16. The Rolling stones ; GREAT , the thing tat made them so good was , their lousy playing and almost out of tune music . Mick's voice was pathetic. You think they were a garage band playing in front of their neighbors for the first time . Yes they got a little wholesome for a while but I thank the Rock n Roll gods they got back to where they should be . Get Yer Yaya's Out. MMMMMM. As it should be , loud and lousy ! On second thought , yeah I would pay $500 maybe $600 if they would come over but they would have to start playing about 3 in (I take tea at three) the afternoon !
  17. Paul, I might pick them up in Denver or St Louis. Maybe Memphis. Bev and I are considering Dead & Co at the Sphere and TTB in T-town. Talk about a logistics exercise. Hackney is the best new Stones studio in 40 years. Did Chanel sing "Sounds of Heaven, Sympathy, Shelter, or Can't Always Get"? All or some? Someone should post "Sweet Sounds of Heaven" here. Great Stones gospel.
  18. This is an intro into the above post. The report itself is a little long to read so it will only appeal to some, but for those who find detail interesting it is a fascinating in depth dive into what’s driving the transport agenda in the UK Question is: why are all these US billionaire's inserting themselves into another sovereign country’s processes
  19. @p6x has been amazing with this "Team Building!" As of today, he has updated the (closed) sign-in list with the following addresses pending: @audiomick @Randy @po18guy

  22. interesting topic! i'll only add that i drug my kids to hawaii to certify, since i just wanted it to be easy and fun, and we scored on both counts (but more than a decade ago). I certified in Alaska, and loved it, but it was in fact a goat-rope if comparing it to warm water, and I'm just glad I did that when i was younger and had the ignorance to think "why not?" lots of good diving up there by the way, but its more of a "when in Rome" thing. though look up "gods pocket" down near Vancouver Island (BC canada) if you want motivation to get into dry suit diving. Maui and the big island both have multiple reputable shops/schools (padi, etc), and they go to warm, usually clear-viz sites, where the whole thing is easy and enjoyable. Bring or rent a shorty, but thats all thats needed unless somethign odd is going on with water temps. Big island had some real nice, clear water dive sites with plenty of coral and fish to gape at while they're learning. But i'd consider bringing my own regulators, as its seems like as often as not when i rent gear when traveling it's safe enough, but crappy/worn-out enough to be finicky, and less "smooth" for me and certainly for a learner. like skiing, crappy gear can make it a worse experience for the learner. For most of the gear who cares, but a mask that fits and you like, and a good regulator setup is stuff you can keep pretty much forever, easily fits in luggage, and you can assure its dialed in before you go.
  23. There’s a mishmash of searching for a solution and all slightly improve but not 100% cure These issues appear to have been resolved in the European spec bikes - it’s a done and dusted issue in the Italian Anima Guzzista discussions Did Daveguzzi1 get his resolved?
  24. The social trends you speak of seem to be driven by a lot of US philanthropy dollars! This report is revealing https://togetherdeclaration.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/CleanAirDirtyMoneyFilthyPolitics_pub_2.pdf
