  1. The TPS or throttle position sensor is a simple device . Google " testing a potentiometer " . It will help you to perform this operation with confidence. You will need a GOOD DVOM , test leads that will probe connectors and an understanding of how to use it . p.s. this will be easier than you can imagine !
  2. Do you know how to test the one that is on the bike ?
  3. Docc, there are o-rings under the rocker arm assys. that need replacing. Very easy to do. You have a parts catalogue that shows them ?
  4. Remove the spark plugs..With the bike on the rear stand , shift the bike to 6 th gear and rotate the rear wheel . It should rotate with some effort because there is no compression . BTW you need to test the charging system , replace the battery if it needs it , get a good battery charger and rehearse how to jump start the bike. There are smaller jumper cables that are available for 4wheeler/motorcycle applications you can purchase .
  5. In your picture the seal is next to the fork tube .
  6. Are you using a digital meter to see what you are using for reference ? The battery should show at least 12.5 v with the ign. switch off. If it is properly charging it will show between 13.0 v & 14.5 v around 1500 rpm. If your battery is hot to the touch it probably has problems . Is the battery still under warranty and or can you install another to make it home ?
  7. I don't think it's possible, to fully understand Luigi's wiring. You all need to look at a German automobile wiring diagram for a couple of hours............................
  8. How do you work the injector manually ? What brand spark plug are you buying ?
  9. If the tank has a black foam pad around the fuel cap it has an external fuel pump/filter setup. If the tank is smooth it has an internal pump module .
  10. Which cylinder drops out ?
  11. I don't think it works that way......
  12. You are not going to hurt anything by replacing the filter. Get a GOOD brand and replace it. Record the date & mileage .Keep up with ALL your services for you or the next owner .
  13. I found them . Do you need them ?
  14. I think I have some I bought off eBay... If you still need them post and I will try to find them .
  15. You say " no fuel is getting into the cylinder" ....how did you come to that conclusion ? Is there spark at the spark plug wire...is the fuel injector firing ....etc. ? If it is running on one cylinder , the fuel pressure is good .
  16. I think it has an aluminum washer that seals it , so just transfer it to the new sender .
  17. Well...can you give us some dimensions , head configuration , etc... ?
  18. Whai is the hex size and nut shaft size ? If it is 30mm hex and 19mm shaft size I have one . PM me your address .
  19. You mean the GB was your first two wheel experience ? What in the world inspired you to get it ? Those things never sold well and now they are sacred ?
