Pricey with a little waiting period. #2 Price of upkeep is subjective. #3 People say Guzzis are unreliable. People say lots of things, what do you want to hear? My concerns; are you left-handed? Do you own a Mac computer? If you answer yes to either question buy the motorcycle, it is made for you. If you needed to get to this part of the quiz, ask yourself: Do I want to spend my spare time musing over and tinkering with a mechanical object? Are you proficient in working on your toys? So the answer is YES. Good. go and put the bike on a center stand. sit on it for 30 min., moving forward and backward in various positions to see if you feel comfortable. Get it off the stand and lay the bike over as far as you feel comfortable (w/out dropping it) to see if it is too heavy for you. If you honestly feel that this what you want then buy it. There are enough friends that will help you to keep it going. There are soft bag kits ( I don't like hard bags) for these bikes. Good luck!

It's hard to comprehend the beauty of something like this when designs were inspired by visions instead of boardroom meetings,actuary predictions and CNC germless manufacturing. I could muse at these sculptures of mechanical beauty for hours.

?#1 the whole philosiphy behind a sealed battery is to maintain the gas in the battery package so you will not have to add distilled water to the battery. The charging (and discharging) process generates the gas and it would normally go into the atmosphere. ?#2&3 This statement releases them from liability if you are charging the battery and striking matches within an inch of the battery. You don't want battery acid in your eyes or on your skin. I don't think you are going to overcharge a battery unless you charge it at 20 a. for a few days. I hope no one on this site is that stupid. If you have ever had a battery explode within a 12 in. of your face you will understand just how combustible hydrogen is.

This goes for ANY sealed battery: if the battery case is leaking fluid, replace it. Whether Odyssey warrants it or not is another story. you want to look to see if the seat pan rests on the battery case to decide what needs to be done.
