  2. That might explain the black seat. Look at the photos here. The site is not 100% reliable, but when the included photos are of the right bike, they are apparently mostly catalogue photos. The ones in this article confirm what I thought, i.e. that the Tenni should have a brown seat. https://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/moto guzzi/moto_guzzi_v11_le_mans_tenni 02.htm EDIT: I see in the ad that the original brown seat is included. I wonder what condition it is in...
  3. Neither am I. As far as I know, the longevity is in a direct relationship with the compound, not the tyre size.
  4. Thanks for that one! I wondered why those graphics but I understand now. Art

  6. don't love the design myself either, but this is the reasoning for it:
  7. I certainly do: 160/60. Not sure about the 160/70 on the short frame Sports. Pretty sure I've never heard of 130 on the front of a V11. Plus I'm really not convinced a bigger tire will automatically provide more longevity. (Just a reminder that all LongFrame V11, 2002-on, have a 5.5" rear rim that were delivered with a 180 while many find a 170 nicely suited to the larger rim.)
  8. I noticed that 170 size tires have just about dried up. You guys seem to like 160 on the red frames?
  9. I wonder why they did not make it completely Tenni green? I think it would have gotten more appeal; at least more appeal to me! When I look at the close-up pics, I get the feeling this bike may have spent time under the weather. You see the chromed rings around the instruments? they seem pitted. 8k is reasonable for a limited production bike. Maybe a tad overpriced for a market where Tenni does not immediately ring a bell.
  10. As most of my riding is freeway, I'm looking for higher mileage tires. I'm a huge fan of Kenda, such value. I purchased these and am now wondering if fitting these may not work. Even if they fit the rim proper, will they clear the fenders. Shall I give 'em a go, or swap for Kenda KM1 models? https://powersports.kendatire.com/en-us/find-a-tire/
  11. #135. 10,600 miles. looks clean, fully serviced. down in Florida, Daytona Beach... https://www.cycletrader.com/listing/2002-Moto+Guzzi-V11-5031402917
  12. I agree…and just being there and seeing them live is well worth it. Every live version with its mistakes and innovation is memorable. I wish I had seen them more often…but it didnt happen in the past. Opening song…Start me Up!! When you get 70,000 people all singing and enjoying the vibe…it’s a good feeling!
  13. Wow. Love how they turned out. I'm partial to this green and they did a great representation of it. It will perfectly cover the HD logo on one of my jackets. Thank you again sir.

  15. My hematologist explained to me that the USA subsidizes most drugs for the test of the world. We also develop the most. The "Crusty Senior" medical plan limits insulin to $35 copay. I use about one pen yearly. Celcene corporation comped my 1 million+ in an experimental drug and paid for all scanning and other coasts, during a clinical trial and long term study of a then-experimental drug. So, I am ambivalent about the entire situation. However, when I see the federal billions in waste that "might" be used for retiree health care, I need something stronger than Tylenol... PATCHES! Now to find a new jacket to sew them on!
  16. Just saw MartyNZ’s post of the WW2 bird in NZ, which reminded me: for anyone heading to the MGNOC at John day this year, at John Day you’re about 140 miles from Madras, where the owner of our company keeps his collection of warbirds. It’s truly worth seeing if you’re an enthusiast and have the time. Ericksoncollection.com. Is the website (for some reason the link won’t paste, so i just typed it) for anyone making the journey and not from around here (meaning, interested in tips on what to do out that direction), i could recommend a scenic riding route or two out toward Madras, and a fantastic steak house in Bend (50 mins south of Madras).
