After installing MPH risers on my 01 Rosso Mandello, I was able to buy a hydraulic clutch line for a 1997 MG Centauro, which is longer than my original stock line, It works great.4 points

They have a bit for compensating the distance for the brake line. https://voigt-mt.de/3-cm-Verlaengerung-fuer-Bremsleitung-oder-Kupplungsleitung-universal But for a little more you have a new brake line. Also nice after 20 years :-)4 points

Geez @Tomchri, I think your place is listed as a place to see in the Norway travel brochure. There's the fjords, and then there's your shop.4 points

I would be happy to add the theme "V11 Spine Raid" to the international rally of the dutch guzzi club. You can benefit of the music and other things we already have and we will add a trophy for the best Spine, frame of the Rally. Next year is also 105years Moto Guzzi, so we poke them up in June to go to Mandello in September as well.3 points

Dear all, after 20 years am still owning and riding a 2004 Moto Guzzi V11 Sport Ballabio. All running great. Just wondering if the cables and brake hydraulic pipes etc would be long enough to install some 20 mm 'risers' between the bars and triple clamp? Was considering these, even if they are a bit pricey compared to some standard stock models: https://voigt-mt.de/Lenkererhoehung-Riser-20mm-fuer-Lenker-mit-O-28mm-mit-ABE thanks for any help/advice! Cheers, Jonathan2 points

The whole idiotic front tyre pressure debacle is caused by the stupid Aerodynamic rules currently in place. WSBK has no front tyre pressure issues because Aero doesn't play a significant role in a WSB. Dump the aero rubbish and the whole front tyre pressure issue disappears. Phil2 points

Been to Sweden and Denmark twice. My wife has family in Sweden. We might go again this summer, but this time it will be Sweden and Norway, specifically Oslo. A very good friend moved back home there after spending 30 years here. I'll be there with family, so riding is out, but dang, Norway has to be riding heaven.1 point

I have not been to Cars & Coffee in San Clemente. I'll send PM re some times for a ride. A San Diego (backcountry) or Sierra Spine Raid would be cool.1 point

@Scud I seem to have finally worked out all the bugs in my V11, sounds like you have too. I'm now retired, so even more time to ride. Let's plan something together. We could meet in San Clemente for Cars & Coffee as it's in the middle.1 point

heck yes…. been on my bucket list for while, to get over to the motherland to tour, for the beautiful scenery, family roots, and the decent handful of nordic guzzi folks over there, like Tom! But playing tour guide for my own family on recent visits has cramped my riding options. eventually will work it in.1 point

Once could imagine an impurity in the alloy cast, or a fissure caused by a specific condition. Piaggio would know as their dealer would have reported the failure.1 point

I know EVERYONE on this site tinkers with your bike and everything else in your shed. This year someone turned me on to how easy McMaster-Carr is to buy from. This place has just about everything you need for any project you have to work on. I order from them at least weekly. It doesn't matter how small or large your order is they fill it and they have it in stock. $12 and next day it is delivered. I needed a 12mm X 1.25 l.h. thread tap. They had (I call them) start , finishing and bottoming taps in stock and no one around could get them in less than a week. Next day and I could not drive to town for $12 . Check them out !1 point

I've used them for..uh..since the 90s. Not always the cheapest, but better than average quality..and they have it.1 point

Lots of maintenance over the winter (wheels off list, tank off list, swingarm bearing re-grease, new breather hose, fork oil, brake fluid, electrics cleanup etc.) The only drama was losing the BB that actuates the front brake switch and both U-joints loose, all sorted and ready for test ride when the old Odyssey battery gave up the ghost. Fortunately the nearby NAPA had a new PC545 on the shelf for $147. Ready to ride just in time for the recent nice weather, 200 mi loop to the coast without a hicccup. Thanks to all the info from the fine folks on this forum!1 point

Hello everyone! I'm Jaide, I've just turned 24 and with that I'm finally rid of the A2 license, and with that I've just upgraded from my restricted XSR 700 to a low mileage V11 Lemans. I'm probably the youngest member here, but I figured I'd join in case I need some advice with this bike. I came close to buying a V7 for my first bike, and after getting a Yamaha instead I just couldn't get those Guzzi's out of my head. And after a test ride I was immediately convinced I needed to get one!1 point

I uhh, have not been having a good time lately. I went out for a ride with a friend this evening, and a wild hare jumped into my bike out from nowhere! Thankfully I didn't crash, but the fairing is completely messed up now. Does anyone know if it's even possible to get a proper matching replacement in the Netherlands, or is my Lemans now doomed to become a Sport?0 points
