  2. @Speedfrog Bingo! the guy answered; it has 31,000 miles, one owner. The actual seller bought it from the owner's estate, so he does not know anything about the bike but he said it looked in good condition. I believe that he is some kind of liquidator? his wording led me to believe the owner passed away. I am planning to go to Arizona to check it out the first week of January. If I like it, I will drive it back to Houston.

  3. I know. It's not a Guzzi. Not even a motorcycle. Not even sure "girl" is the right word . . .

  4. Just buy the top of the range Wilbers shock. Adjustable everything. H/lo speed compression, hydraulic preload adjuster, low speed rebound and shock length. The preload adjuster and reservoir fit the std Sachs mount. Phil

  5. confirmed - the '03 and later signals fit, as expected. the damaged signals on back are now a retro-look LED, and up front its the '03 signals minus the metal spacer, which I think cleans up the look. jury is out on the rear retro signals... not sure i'll keep those. pics may follow for those interested.

  9. Well, here's two that might. https://www.webbikeworld.com/billy-joel-built-bruce-springsteens-moto-guzzi/ PS: the motor in that "Eldorado" looks vaguely famililar... The brakes don't quite look like early '70's either...

  10. Yeah, we've PM'd a few times over the year or so. I am asking $7500 which is more in range of the Mandello/Ohlin equipped bikes. I bought this bike 2 years ago from a "collector" in Wisconsin, had it shipped to VA. Had 2400ish miles. I've run about 3k more then stopped riding. Detailed, put fresh tires on, covered and put away for a bit. Didn't want to keep running up miles, esp. since I have a red '03 to take care of the V11 fix. It's essentially flawless with a couple of very minor exceptions. Engine paint (LOL) is like factory and I treat it as such to protect. No scrubbing, no blasting, no chemicals. Only change I did make upon ownership was swap in the proper Omron relays (Thanks docc!) Does have the original MG factory rear rack. Runs like a well oiled sewing machine. Just waiting for a serious buyer who wants to deal a bit. What kind of quality bike can you buy nowadays for 7K? Not much for sure.

  15. I apologize for slightly polluting the thread in posting non Guzzi contents, however you may like it, did you? Which one out of all, would be your favorite passenger? I am happy I do not need to make a choice, because my Le Mans is strictly single seat exclusively; the cowl never comes off...
