Timing - TPS issues. Can't remember, did you change the mapping ? Seems you are capable of handling COMPUTERS, I'm not. A good friend and some toying with the ECU. AMAZING what can be done. Good luck with getting rid of that kangaroo ride. Cheers Tom.

I woud check the cables in the ign lock, and at the same time make a little loop with the wiring and strap it easily on the lock. Every time you turn the handlebars it will strain yor cables. Bearings shoud be easy obtainable, will go looking if nesecearly. Same time again check the lenght of the spacer between bearings. If 12cm ad a 1mm shims. Cheers Tom.

Like Chuck said. Looking at your plugs, mileage, some quide wear for sure. I was lucky, bent valve outside the garage idling. Machinist told me when milling out the quide on my right head, the quide just dropped out after minimum milling. Not trying to scare, just a wear thing. 215600km not bad at all. Don't think the unsceduled pit stop had anything to do with wear. Just some thoughts docc. Cheers Tom.

Having a few bikes it's actually very recomended for a pensioner's health, shoud have been on blue subscription. Winther project started july last year, why not this year to with riding weather like this, -3 not far away. Gives me something meaningful to do since bikes always was a BIG part of life. Bit wet and on the chilly side here, but no thank you to 100+ in Houston. Remember well 43c in Barcelona with up north riding gear, TERRIBLE. Cheers Tom.

MM had a nasty HS today, broke a chicken bone in the hand, and a ribfracture But seeing him getting the bike back up on two wheels using his arm and feet, amasing at least to me. To bad he was hold up today, not intensional tho, RACING Will see. Cheers Tom.

Heads back today. Another quide VERY loose. Oversize quides from Guzzi not big enough, so they made 4 new ones. Expensive but superb. Happy friday here. Cheers Tom. Sent fra min SM-S906B via Tapatalk

Boring racing today, all 3 races actually. Most people since 1995, was it 192554 during the 3days. Still very enjoyable of course. Cheers Tom.

Vodo boxes I think. Had a BMW K1200S, one of the first models, IT was terrible, MUCH worse than the usual 3k trouble on a V11. Entering a round about, clutch in was needed. Spoke to a technician at a BMW dealer, who had a test bench. He said yes we can put her on the bench, do some magic, BUT it will not last, WHAT ? Sold the bloody thing. K1300S was much better. Cheers Tom.

Had a call today from the machine shop about the loose valve quide. The oversized quide from Guzzi 0.10mm, not big enough. So plenty of play chamber side. They will make a new one. They started then, NICE. I must bring beer . Cheers Tom.
-
Thanks, clean no liner tank. Steel 1100 Sport tanks can have rust issues. Cheers Tom.
-
Yes. Took a little bit of force to get it out, but moveable with fingers, chamber side. Cheers Tom.
-
As mentioned, it was possible to move the quide and valve in the chamber side. It was too much play between valve and quide + possible to move the quide in the chamber side. That’s why I ordered oversize quides. Clearly a hitting mark on the ex valve. Pushrods were straight. Not much room between the valves, so my first thought was it had to be the reason. K-lines would have been the better option, if the quide was in place. Again me NO machinist. It was a pleasure seeing Widmer motors work shop, organized and CLEAN. They are busy, so will take a little while. Cheers Tom.
