  1. Makes sure the tps hasn't come unplugged.
  2. Probably the filter. If it were an EV, I would guess the pan gasket was on backwards.
  3. One of the guys on WG was able to get a vid of Sugaree (first set, before John changed shirts in my photos)
  4. I am sure this is no surprise, I saw the Dead & Co last night in Dallas. They played Texas sentimentals like EL Paso, New Minglewood Blues, and Deep Ellum Blues. But then John just tore it up on Sugaree with wild blues and did it again with Jack Straw. After the break they did the best Shakedown Street I've ever heard and the rest of the show was total jam out with Uncle John, St Steven and 11. I haven't ordered the recording yet but I did get some photos from the camera I really hate (and sometimes like).
  5. I know that bike
  6. So it's variation of 'the least resistance'? The forces find the weakest area, so remove that area? (and my thinking the more material the greater strength) Thanks for the lesson.
  7. For a noob like me, why is taking metal off a casting going to make it stronger?
  8. regarding TOP: (aka, greatest LIVE album of all time)
  9. Those gen 2 Duc SS have very aggressive ergos, even more extreme than the Sport 1100. Pretty bent over riding them IMO.
  10. reseat the neutral cut out switch on the left side of the gearbox.
  11. Purchase one? Perhaps not. Ride one? Hell yeah, the Duke too. I'd like to know what the reliability and maintainability factor is. I am quite smitten with my Duc SS. Not a huge Adv guy.
  12. Don in OKC is an Ohlins trained guy if you can't find anyone local. http://www.motivcycleworks.com/
  13. speaking of COTA (as posted earlier) Earl's Art Gallery (in N Tex. Illinois Bend) (and it was freeezzzinnnng cold 40 degrees and 40 MPH wind) and then I rode all the way to Stonehenge in Kerrville. After I rode from Earl's-hengde. Who knew there was the Cadillac Ranch, Earl's place and Stonehenge in Texas? Celebrating my cough-cough 65th B-day Disclaimer, I didn't take the last photo, that was by Darren
  14. I would imagine that we'd get a few takers, guys like me that would like to have a couple in Guzzi parts bin. Between this board and especially on WildGuzzi there should be enough folks to make the quantities. It would only take 20 or 30, the problem is getting all this straight keeping track of who wants how many and then shipping. That's why we aren't business folks, just hobbyists. And of course the quality issue which is an unknown.
  15. Despite my post above, stay attentive of the weather. Some of the flooding is now entering Ark. A fellow rider rode western Ark last weekend and said it was fine but now we need to keep an eye on it.
  16. I didn't need 50. I asked for 2 and this was the quote.
  17. Glad you're OK Chuck. I wasn't aware there were serious storms around you. One of my old buddies lives N of Dayton, he was pretty close but came out OK.
  18. The weather looks to clearout by Thursday. Should be a good riding weekend.
  19. I contacted them about the price buying two. It was $60 + $50 shipping
  20. group order for 50? between this board and Wild, we might get it covered.
  21. Hopefully things will be dry next week. Hope to see some of you there.
  22. John didn't make CV either? Yes, I am a wimp. The rain never stopped even when I was going to ride up Saturday. Probably will meet up when we go to both Springfields on Labor Day unless I can lure him to the Ozark Raid. He used to be a regular on that one.
