Scud
I know... tmi.... sorry bout that. Just injecting some theory into valuation. Not TMI - well-stated. I thoroughly relished the experience of taking delivery of an unused Scura (185 miles, $6,995 at a dealer) - knowing that all the miles on it are mine, and knowing the full service history (because I created the service history). Surprisingly, the Scura had very few issues from sitting idle for over 10 years.
GuzziMoto
15 or so years ago we paid about ($9k or so) that for the wife's new V11. It was a demo, with about 200 miles on it (not much of a demo, really). It still came with the factory warranty. I can't imagine paying $9k for this one, but I can't fault them for dreaming. Best of luck to them.

k99
Looks like a pretty good deal to me on a 2004 Cafe Sport. http://www.cycletrader.com/dealers/Hopper-Cycle-Center-2975952/listing/2004-Moto-Guzzi-V11-Naked-Cafe-Sport-116943269
leroysch
Piques my interest, not in purchasing but whether 1.) the front suspension would be a direct replacement for the stock suspension on an '04 V11 LeMans and 2.) the interface plate on the luggage rack...manufacturer? Scud
I do like the Cafe Sports... This black, red-frame has been on and off Craigslist for a while. Asking price of $2,400 - I think it was higher before. https://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/mcy/5427412417.html FWIW - I paid about $1,400 for a wrecked 2002, quickly sold $1,400 in parts, kept lots of spares for myself, and still have quite a lot to sell later. danl
This one will be going up for auction tomorrow. Get out your checkbooks! http://www.coys.co.uk/cars/moto-guzzi-v8-500gp-1956-evocation It's a replica, but supposedly very accurate. Only a few photos, but they are good quality. Scud
Here's a Scura masquerading as a Coppa Italia. Those two models must represent the opposite ends of the V11 style scale: http://fresno.craigslist.org/mcy/5582001082.html And this unusual shade of Greenie has been for sale on-and-off for a long time: http://fresno.craigslist.org/mcy/5575313023.html And a fine Silver-Sport: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/mcy/5588184084.html

Thxs Wasn't someone on here looking for a cheap "greenie"??? https://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/mcy/5619494391.html That's a clean Greenie for $3,800 - only a few hours away from Las Vegas. I hereby offer to ride it from San Francisco to Las Vegas for $700 (just to help everyone get the price they want). I'll even buy my own plane ticket to SF. I promise not to put more than 2,000 miles on it.
