I learned about the tire rebate last year and enjoyed applying it to a fresh set of T32 for mySport. Thanks for posting this, @Speedfrog !

@OuijiVeck has not updated this topic, but I believe the Tekno have gone to another member . . .

My little tart-of-a-roadster has been at my specialist shop for ten weeks. With these beautiful spring days, I miss her spritely ways she cheers me up on the lovely backroads and winding country lanes. The wife said, "Why don't you just sell it ?" It's okay, I still love her. The wife? Yeah, keeping her, too.

If the bracket has been bent, there is potential for damage to the attachment into the sump spacer of the smaller, bottom fastener. Inspect carefully. Also, the larger, upper fastener that threads into the timing chest is torqued to an astounding 70 Nm. Both of these fasteners tend to loosen over time and benefit from periodic checking and, perhaps, a threadlocking agent, IMCO.

Do you like to dive? tired of carrying tanks?

At first glance, I did not see much difference between "divers " and "drivers ", yet recognize the vast difference in skill, focus, and attention to detail! -

I've never heard of that . . . -
I seem to recall there are some tank bag mounting rings that accommodate the height of the chin pad. Perhaps someone here remembers where to find that tread?

As long as the middle/#3 [Neutral] Relay functions. The Neutral Switch may illuminate the green Neutral Light, yet the "Sidetsand" Relay (middle/#3) could be failed, so that the bike will only start with the sidestand up, clutch lever pulled in. (I refer to the middle/#3 relay as the "Neutral Relay" as it is actuated by the "Neutral Switch" on the gearbox. The factory literature calls this the "Sidestand Relay" since it prevents starting when the bike is in gear with the sidestand down.)

On the V11, this is characteristic of a failure of the Neutral Switch --> Neutral (middle/#3) Relay. Does the Neutral Light come on in the display panel? Is the gearbox definitely in Neutral, or is it in gear? Or even in a gap between gears, but not actually in >Neutral< to activate the Neutral Switch --> #3 Relay?

I'm curious what @luckyescobedo thinks of his GB500. And what he is trying to achieve changing the chin pad on his V11 Sport . . .

Trying for that slick tank look of "something else" in the collection?

Anyone with early and later V11s that could compare the sidestands, er "side-by-side" ?

The little dude is tireless and shows some real soul in his playing. Best for all of them that he keeps his time locked with the bass. I've played with some drummers that wouldn't lock-on. After a while, everyone just packs up and goes home. In all honesty, though, our bass player is just not that cute.

Just the "stick"/ #1 : SIDE STAND (#01432190), or some/all of the whole Rube Goldberg mechanism? All sidestands were the same throughout the 1999-2005 V11 SpineFrame range?

Guzzi Curious Seeks Opinion on Used V11 Sport
docc replied to MacMcMacmac's topic in Technical Topics
Having owned a Pacific Coast, I would venture that rode and handled well, made decent power, and hid its V-twin like a drug habit. The trunk made it a great grocery-getter. One of the biggest differences with the V11 Sport is getting groceries on it takes me four hours.- 41 replies

Do those clamps look similar/same to those on your 1100 Sport? [edit: Actually, with them parked side-by-side, that Meanie-Greenie's clamp looks even more aggressive than the Sport-i !

I've had some results with Teflon tape on the threads, but still experienced that vacuum/ air bubble circumstance even though the system had actually been purged.

Is there a chance these are the very early V11 Sport clamps that were carried over from the 1100 Sport production?
